Peoria, Illinois police were called to the Peoria Public Library after an adult woman refused repeated requests from staff and security to leave the children’s area. She was sitting at a table coloring when officers arrived — and she wasn’t planning on relocating. Staff said the space was reserved for children and the adults accompanying them. She argued with the policy, insisted she had a right to remain there and claimed she owned the library. Officers explained the situation several times and gave her repeated opportunities to simply get up and leave. She stayed seated. Eventually, officers physically removed her from the chair and placed her in handcuffs as the situation escalated. Library security then confirmed she was banned from the property. Would you have given her a chance to leave or just called the authorities? I would have made the call—I don’t trust people.

This woman is going through a rough patch, to make ends meet she decided to go to the food bank. While unloading their bags of food that they were given, she makes snide remarks about how she’s a vegetarian and doesn’t like how they have her meat. In fact she complained the whole time about how they gave her food she normally wouldn’t get for herself and complained about why she didn’t get fresh fruit or vegetables. A man gets a call in the middle of the night from his wife. She’s driving home from work and she noticed a law enforcement officer has been following her. They ended up following for over 20 minutes, right before she makes one of her final turns to get home. The lights come on and the officer pulls her over. I always thought that they weren’t allowed to follow you over a set number of miles. That it would entrapment. But it turned out to be a state officer, so that would make sense that they could follow from another city, but if they had cause when they followed, wouldn’t they have stopped her then?

Watch as she tries to flee inside to get to her client so her hair “doesn’t fall out”! Is that really what she’s worried about, or does she just not want to get arrested? She start questioning him about where he lives and what he’s doing there, she insists that she’s never seen him before and that he doesn’t belong there. The woman then positions herself so that he can’t close the door without harming her. She tells him to call the police so he can prove to her that he belongs there. I don’t get since when does anyone have to prove they belong to a certain neighborhood, I think she’s doing too much and should let him go about his day, what would you do to escape?

It just reminded me that she got this sweetheart deal from Trump in return for her silence, fabricating testimony, or “exonerating Donald Trump.” Then her lawyer says, well, if you were to give her clemency, then she would really tell you the whole truth. And it’s like, come on, man — this is completely backwards. In our country, you don’t get clemency, you don’t get a pardon — or you should not — unless you admit guilt, show remorse, cooperate, and try to do what law enforcement and the public want you to do to make things right. She’s done none of those things. She’s never admitted guilt. She’s never shown remorse. And now she’s saying she’s only going to cooperate if she gets clemency. So I’ve introduced a resolution saying she should never be given clemency. She should never get a pardon. She’s a monster.
