Granted, none of these are new (Save for Bananza, which is a DK game, not a Mario game), so Mario Odyssey truly is the LAST completely new 3D Mario campaign. But I love Kirby just as much, so I don't really care. I'm sure something will happen eventually.

im the biggest mario fan ever but this is so true i dont know how people hate kirby so much its such a great moment for the kirby franchise since it doesnt have that much 3d games and THIS one is OPEN WORLD why would u be mad at that this is awesome

not hating on kirby but 2 of these games are old now 2 of these games are ports 1 doesn't even fit this category and 2 of these games are all of the above

I'm absolutely grateful that they announce a new 3D Kirby game over yet another Mario sports or party game towards the end of the direct.

Before people start getting defensive, I actually like Kirby. 3D game looks great, I do love Mario much more, but I have respect. I'm just truly disappointed in the anniversary's inability to actually celebrate Mario and instead make it abt other characters. They missed it bad.

As a nintendo enjoyer since i was a kid, I'd say im satisfied playing both mario and kirby games.
