@MarthaStewart @marthaliving I used a ricer/food mill to make them once and it was so tedious I was grinding my teeth and vibrating I'm a smashed potato guy Ain't got time for French methods

@MarthaStewart @marthaliving I do love using a ricer but good lord

@MarthaStewart @marthaliving That’s way too much work for me. I sous vide mine with milk, cream, butter and herbs for three hours and then smooth them with an immersion blender.

@MarthaStewart @marthaliving Oh that’s smart

@MarthaStewart @marthaliving We're all gonna die waiting for these potatoes. I know they taste great, but honey I need to poop before the football game. This ruins that completely.

@MarthaStewart @marthaliving “It’s either making mashed potatoes or commit a mass casualty event and you’re not making the choices easy over here, MARTHA!”

@MarthaStewart @marthaliving You can use a fine mesh sieve instead of the cheesecloth. This is how I make potato purée, but it’s a special occasion type of dish

@MarthaStewart @marthaliving I bust my ricer out on special occasions, but if I’m just making it for us on a regular night, I’m usually just mashing them by hand

@MarthaStewart @marthaliving I love her so much.

@MarthaStewart @marthaliving Not trying to be dramatic, but I would literally die for Martha Stewart. She is the only wealthy person that I will tolerate.
