@Heritage @NAACP @NatUrbanLeague @NationalAction I agree with you about the promotion of abortion, but American society doesn’t promote marriage, family and fatherhood for any demographic. It’s a larger societal and cultural problem, but as usual black people suffer the most.

As their value for education wanes, so should their special tax benefits and Congressional backing. Corey A. Shapiro and all of the soft pundits & politicians who were too cowardly to fight during the last two decades of war make a very compelling case for instituting a draft. Imagine how many of these chickenhawks would be advocating for boots on the ground if they or their children could be called upon to do the fighting, bleeding, & dying. Our reckless leaders are shattering the social contract and the trust that are required to maintain an all-volunteer military. I discussed this with Rex Jones earlier this week.

This is Fletcher and Skyler aged 20 and 19. A week ago, their car was hit by an illegal alien from Mexico, who was under the influence and k*lled them both. Their lives mattered! They would be alive today if that illegal alien wasn’t in our country. Instead, we have tens of thousands of people all around the country protesting to keep people like that in the country. Juneteenth commemorates not the day that Black people won freedom in this country, but the day Black people finally received word of that freedom, more than two years after Emancipation. While we celebrate freedom on Juneteenth fully and unabashedly, we are also reminded that the powerful will try to rob us of our freedoms if left to their own devices. But the power of the people is absolute— as long as we continue to exercise it, and guard against the forces that seek to divide us. Thank you to National Action Network and Reverend Al Sharpton for allowing me to share my thoughts with the congregation on this sacred day.

Of course, in reality, the black national anthem is performed at every Super Bowl, because The Star-Spangled Banner is the anthem of ALL Americans. The effort to create a "black national anthem," and a "black Independence Day" in Juneteenth, is part of a wider project to divide Americans up by race. Let's get back to the days where Whitney Houston showed ALL Americans how to sing about and celebrate this country.
