Who needs to be called a slur?

The ONLY time I'm ever concerned about someone's politics is when I'm going to family gatherings and I have to mentally prep myself for my mother and aunts to inevitably babble about how much they hate Trump/conservatives/ect while I have to say nothing because they'll collectively go ape-shit otherwise. That's it. Cons? Movies? Restaurants? Other people's politics are normally the last thing on my mind.
