The Basics of Electromagnetic Waves: Electricity and magnetism can sit still, like static electricity in your hair or a magnet stuck to your fridge. But when they move and change, they actually create each other. Together, they team up to form invisible ripples of energy called electromagnetic waves. Hi Everyone check this out ๐Ÿ‘€ So MITMAK Motors declined our previous client of allowing us to come Inspect on his behalf, this vehicle below is our for our second client, our second client did not say itโ€™s View4You who will come check, he just said we must go as anonymous. Well we went and we did the Inspection. We understand why they did not want us to come and check the car. They are not honest and transparent from the get go. This car had many defects that were clearly visible and were not disclosed to the client. There were even warnings โš ๏ธ displayed on the infotainment that needed to be attended to. We have advised our client to make sure they fix all the issues before he takes the car, as itโ€™s not minor things. It will cost him lots of money to fix it. Today - 43% of Australians, about 9 million people, have less than $1000 in the bank. That is about 9.2 million people. Also today, Jim Chalmers was running victory laps at the National Press Club. He told us theyโ€™re doing a great job managing the economy and have big plans for our nation - as he bounced from slogan to slogan. At some point Labor must stop campaigning and start answering for the mess we are in. A mess the political class have made. The establishment in Australia are so poll driven, so focused on the next sound bite they donโ€™t seem to understand that their plans are not working. Too many Australians are worse off today than they were a decade ago. Housing, groceries and the everyday basics slipping further and further out of reach. Crime increasing as the situation worsensโ€ฆ and yet, the National Press Club in their pant suits fawn over every word that falls from Chalmers. He tells us the Labor government is modernising our electricity grid. As electricity becomes unstable and expensive. How very modern. He suggests they are โ€œseizing the opportunities from Net Zero with a future made in Australiaโ€, as long-standing businesses that used to make things here โ€“ close down for good. It sounds to me like he should instead have a PhD in spin. Not that the Australian media has much interest in questioning him. They donโ€™t call out the obvious sloganeering and the absolute dishonesty โ€“ the whitewashing of the real situation of the Australian not privileged enough to sit in the club. Worse still, our economic situation is corroding, and it is the government that pours on the acid. Instead of talking about real problems and real solutions, Jim delighted the establishment crowd juggling balls of distraction drenched in sophistry. IT would seem that the big end of town doesnโ€™t really care about Australia; they have the money and mobility to go anywhere โ€“ theyโ€™re global citizens. Their companies can make things anywhere. The media just want access, so they only ever go so far with their critique. The big banks are too big to fail. They donโ€™t mind the digital cage closing on the rest of usโ€ฆ after all they have the keys. Ohโ€ฆ by the way, Chalmers will help our economy to digitise with a digital ID. That ought to fix it for those who are struggling. I think the government is out of its depth. The economy is getting much worse for real Australians - quickly. Young Nigerians are on fire! Leave everything & listen to our Gen Z speak. Iโ€™m so proud of them! Why should anyone pay over โ‚ฆ600K for a substandard education in a public university? NELFUND is a Ponzi Scheme. The APC almost got away with it. They removed the subsidy in Education, & โ€˜publicโ€™ school fees skyrocketed! To make matters worse, you told them to borrow from you before they could go to school. How much did you pay to attend a public school? Which school did you attend? Their struggling parents can barely afford food & rent. Where do you expect them to fetch the 600K from? From the poverty you created? We have to speak for these young minds. We should never make the mistake of abandoning them. Education is a RIGHT, not a privilege! Over โ‚ฆ600K in a โ€œpublicโ€ university without functional laboratories, electricity, R&D, & a conducive environment for higher learning, is no education, but punishment! This man has scratches on his truck and people ask him why he doesnโ€™t buff them out. His response- โ€œI could probably buff out the scratches on my truck, but I don't really want to. They're from Gunnar, from all the times he stuck his head out the window, ears back, face in the wind, happy just to be along for the ride. Back then, it was just part of life. Dog hair everywhere. The man who had founded Impressionism, whose 1873 canvas "Impression, Sunrise" had given the entire movement its name, was convinced his best days were behind him... His wife, Alice, suggested a trip to Venice. Monet resisted. The city had been painted to death by Canaletto, Turner, and Whistler, and he had always insisted, "I will not go to Venice." It was, he said, "too beautiful to be painted." He went. And the moment he arrived, standing before the light on the water, he exclaimed: "It is too beautiful to be painted! It is untranslatable!" Within days he could not stop working. He fell into a fierce daily rhythm, painting the Doge's Palace, the churches, and the palazzos along the Grand Canal at the same hours each day, chasing the shimmer of Venetian air on stone and water. In just over two months he began 37 canvases. His wife wrote home that she was overjoyed to see him so impassioned again, doing beautiful work, and something other than "those same old water lilies." In a letter to a friend, Monet wrote: "My enthusiasm for Venice continues to grow, and it saddens me that the moment is coming when I must leave this unique light." He never returned. President Trump has long claimed that he personally intervened to halt Operation Sindoor on May 10, 2025. He has done so on 65 different occasions in various forums in at least seven different countries. The Prime Minister has never broken his silence on these claims made by his so-called good friend. Now the Chinese Foreign Minister makes a similar claim and says China also mediated. On July 4, 2025, the Deputy Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen Rahul Singh had publicly stated that during Operation Sindoor, India was actually confronting and combating China. Given that China was decisively aligned with Pakistan, Chinese claims of having mediated between India and Pakistan are concerning - not just because they directly contradict what the people of our country have been led to believe, but because they seem to make a joke of our national security itself. This claim must also be understood in the context of our relationship with China. We have begun re-engagement with them - but unfortunately it has been on Chinese terms. The Prime Ministerโ€™s clean chit to China on June 19, 2020, has considerably weakened Indiaโ€™s negotiating position. Our trade deficit is at record highs and much of our exports are dependent on imports from China. Provocative actions by China in relation to Arunachal Pradesh continue unabated. Amidst such a lopsided - and hostile - relationship, the people of India need clarity on what role China played in the abrupt halt to Operation Sindoor

This is the exact moment that I decided to go off-grid in ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น Portugal ๐Ÿ˜‚ After being connected to another department and put on hold for 30 minutes, Portugal's electricity provider EDP hangs up on me, for no reason, the second time If you've ever dealt with companies in Portugal, you'll know that every single interaction is just hair pullingly bad: every small problem turns into a giant Kafka-esque nightmarish ordeal that'll stretch out for months trying to get it solved. The level of sheer incompetence of Portuguese companies is just beyond your imagination, I've never experienced this anywhere living all over the world, and I've lived here for a few years now and speak Portuguese Why are Portuguese companies so bad? - nepotism -> they use gov connections/bribes to get monopolies on entire markets, so they don't have to compete much - low competition -> low quality products and services - very exploitative of their workers -> they pay low, treat them like shit, so workers don't care about their work - that makes the companies anti-customers -> they treat you like shit too - all of this is -> very very bad for Portuguese society at large and good for a few rich Portuguese families who control things here People regularly ask me "why are you still in Portugal if so much stuff sucks?", well, because I love it here for the climate, the clean air, the nature, the food, and the people are amazing I feel there's no other solution for me than to just go completely off-grid for my sanity: ๐Ÿ“ก I already got Starlink to get internet from space ๐Ÿ’ธ I've closed my Portuguese bank accounts, and use Revolut to pay my tax ๐Ÿ”‹ I'm now getting solar panels + batteries (to quit EDP) ๐Ÿ’ง Possibly harvest rain water? I am the person practice Law of Attraction many years and I do see a lot of change in my life! I believe everything can change to better after we change our heart and our mindset. On the way to Pi success journey, all our community should work together and help each other. Because we are on the same boat. I have always loved tales of courage in the face of long odds. Maybe that's why To Kill a Mockingbird has always been one of my favorite stories. In a world dominated by groupthink and mob rule, only one man had the courage to swim against the current. It was a world of suspicion, where rumors quietly whispered gave rise to groundless fears. I see parallels between that world and my own. Lucy sits in jail today as the mob kindles their torches and brandishes their pitchforks expecting a lynching, fueled by rumors fed by gossip and lies. She's a bit like Tom Robinson, the gentle black man falsely accused of having raped a white woman. It did not matter that he could not have done it physically. It fit the biases of a fearful society. Sometimes, even I have misunderstood Lucy. Years ago, we got three ducks. They seemed to bond with Lucy. They would sleep next to her and lay down pressed against her. Sometimes even on top of her. She endured it patiently. One day, we found one dead with what seemed to be bite marks on its back. Lucy was holding it in her mouth. Dolly Spice- Jones ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŽต and I were shocked. We began to see her as a loose cannon; guardian and predator in equal measure. We kept her in the house the next few days. Soon another duck died, leaving only a pile of feathers. We observed the final moments of the third duck. Death came from the skies in the shape of an owl striking at dusk. We saw then that it had never been Lucy. Those were not bite marks. They were the marks of talons. Lucy must have come just too late. She was gently holding it because it had been her friend. She was sad. Sheepdogs are easily confused with wolves by the sheep. In reality, they are the only thing keeping the wolves from the sheep. Shortly after we moved here, a bear visited. We could see its footprints. It stayed out of our fields. Our sheepdogs guarded them diligently. The bear also didn't visit our neighbors' houses, where dogs, cats, and children may have been outside, oblivious to the danger that lurked nearby. Our barking dogs protected the neighborhood. One of the following days, it may have even been the next day, my wife got a text from a neighbor complaining about how the barking had made her hot tub less relaxing the previous night. A man who will not work with his hands, nor with his back, nor with his mind at some honest problem of the real physical world, is no man that I recognise. He is a ledger entry in a suit. The country was not built by ledger entries. The country was built by farmers and fishermen and masons and smiths and sweeps and miners and shipwrights and midwives and mothers, and those are the people whose say should carry in her councils, and no other. Here is what I put to you. Let each man and woman of this island direct the first tenth of their earnings themselves, by their own judgement, to the purpose they see as worthy. The school down the road. The lifeboat station. The hospice. The widow on the corner. The roof of the chapel. The harbour wall. Whatever it may be. Let the people who earned the money decide where the money travels. You will find the roads mended and the ports dredged and the schools standing and the old ones cared for inside of five years, and done better and for less, because the hand that earned the coin knows the weight of it and will not squander it upon consultants and committees. And let us have done with the paper currency and the numbers in a screen that can be frozen at the whim of a clerk in a tower. Bring back the coin. Gold for the great transactions. Silver for the weekly commerce of a working life. Copper for the small change of the day. Metal you can bite. Metal you can weigh. Metal that cannot be conjured out of nothing by a keystroke, nor erased out of existence by another. Real money for real labour. A coin in the hand is a free man's wage. A number in a database is a collar around a free man's neck, and they are fitting that collar now while we stand arguing over the colour of it. Feel it in your gut. That is not nothing. That is your blood relating to you what your ears will not hear. That is every forebear who starved and fought and coughed the black dust into a rag and descended the shaft regardless, standing at your shoulder and saying no further. Not one more field. Not one more harbour. Not one more son upon a plane. Not one more free man converted into a number in a ledger for the convenience of the parasites. This is the hour. Make no error about it. Ireland is redeemed in this generation or she is lost beyond recovery, and every true son and daughter of her knows it in the marrow. There is no middle ground remaining. There is no waiting it out. This is the second of two posts Iโ€™m making about the teaching of Andy Stanley because I have a burden to warn people to be like the Bereans "examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so." (Acts 17:11). I have attached a short video clip where Stanley says we donโ€™t know Jesus rose from the dead because the bible tells us so. He says itโ€™s the other way around. Now how do we know Jesus bodily rose from the dead? Did any of us see it happen? No, it happened 2000 years ago. But havenโ€™t people researched the resurrection and found all sorts of evidence consistent with Him rising from the dead. Yes, but such evidence, though powerful, and we can certainly use in our witnessing, does not ultimately prove He rose from the dead. In fact, no matter what evidence we point to in geology, biology, astronomy etc., none of this proves in an ultimate sense the bible is true. Now it is certainly true such evidence properly interpreted does confirm the bibleโ€™s history. For instance, the molecule of heredity DNA is a complex information system and language system. No one has seen matter produce information or a language from matter by natural processes. Our observations and experience show information and language have to come from an intelligence. Such evidence confirms an intelligence behind life. This certainly confirms the first verse of the bible, โ€œIn the beginning God createdโ€ฆ .โ€ But nonetheless, itโ€™s not absolute proof. Think about it. We are finite beings living in the present. We donโ€™t know everything. We donโ€™t know how much we donโ€™t know or do know in relation to whatever there is to know! When we try to interpret evidence of the present in relation to the past, how do we know we have all the relevant information to make the correct interpretation. Some information we donโ€™t have could totally change our interpretation. That has certainly happened with scientists solving crimes using circumstantial evidence. When new evidence comes along, some of the interpretations change and certain people thought to be guilty were found they were innocent after-all. We need to have all the information needed. But we canโ€™t know everything. However we have a book that claims over three thousand times to be the Word of God. This book claims that God moved people by His spirit to write His Word, what He wants revealed to us about life, the universe and history. This book, the bible, tells us that God knows everything, He is infinite in knowledge and wisdom. He has all information. โ€œIn whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledgeโ€ (Colossians 2:3). If Godโ€™s Word is what it claims to be (and it is), then the infinite Creator God has revealed to us the key information we need to know to have the ability to correctly interpret this world in relation to the past, present and its purpose and meaning. โ€œTherefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didnโ€™t think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of Godโ€”which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believeโ€ (1 Thessalonians 2:13). This means if we build our thinking on Godโ€™s Word, we build a Christian worldview to enable us to look at the world through โ€œbiblical glassesโ€ and have the ability to correctly interpret and understand it. And Genesis 1-11 is the history that is foundational to the rest of the bible and thus our worldview. So, when we start with Godโ€™s Word we learn that the God revealed to us in the bible is the One Who created all things. Now by just looking at the world, for instance at DNA, we might deduce that thereโ€™s an intelligence behind life. But we would not know who that intelligence is unless revealed to us. The bible reveals who that intelligence is, God the father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But, if we just looked at the world with all its death, suffering and disease, we could assume that the intelligence behind life must be an ogre to make such a violent disease ridden suffering world. But when we start from Godโ€™s Word, we understand there was no death or disease to start with, but these entered the world because of sin. We also find man has a problem called sin which alienated him from God. We even find in Genesis that God promised someone would come to save us from our sin and restore our relationship with God (Genesis 3:15; 3:21). We learn later on that โ€œsomeoneโ€ is Jesus--the one who became flesh for us, the babe in a manger 2000 years ago. It's important to understand we canโ€™t know anything absolutely unless an absolute authority has revealed to us what we need to know. Now Andy Stanley claims we donโ€™t know Jesus rose from the dead because the bible tells us so, but claims itโ€™s the other way round, that because Jesus rose from the dead, we can believe what is says about this in the bible. In reality, Andy Stanley is actually claiming he knows all information about the resurrection to know itโ€™s true so then he can proclaim what the bible says about the resurrection is true. This is not so. And remember from the previous post, Andy Stanley accepts manโ€™s view of evolution and millions of years as true to declare what Genesis records about creation is not all true. So why shouldn't people take the word of others who claim Jesus didn't rise from the dead to then declare the account of the resurrection in the gospels can't be true. Stanley, as a finite fallen human being with very limited knowledge, starts outside the bible to go to the bible to make pronouncements over Godโ€™s written Word. No wonder he rejects a literal Genesis. Sadly, this is the case for the majority of our church leaders and Christian academics, particularly when it comes to Genesis. Think about it. Really Stanley is acting in accord with our sin nature because of what happened in Genesis 3. Part of our sin nature concerns us wanting to be our own god. Consider Genesis 3:1 and Genesis 3:5, the temptation by the devil. Satan tempted Adam and Eve to question Godโ€™s Word, and be want to be like God to decide good and evil, truth, etc., for themselves. In actuality, the statements Andy Stanley is making about Christianity and Godโ€™s Word are reflecting this sin problem we have. He is letting his sin nature master over him in this instance instead of letting Godโ€™s Word tell us clearly what we should believe. And I would say that about all Christians who reinterpret parts of the bible (like Genesis) because of beliefs from outside the bible. Now the whole bible is actually about Jesus, from the very first verse, that Jesus is the Creator (Colossians 1:16 โ€œFor by him all things were created,โ€), & and he is the Savior (Revelation 5:9), to the very last verse, โ€œHe who testifies to these things says, โ€œSurely I am coming soon.โ€ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amenโ€ (Revelation 22:20โ€“21) God reveals all we need to know about Jesus in His Word. We know Jesus rose from the dead because the bible tells us so! We know we are sinners because the bible tells us so. We know we can be saved through faith in Christ because the bible tells us so. We know we need to repent of sin because the bible tells us so. As Christians we know we will spend eternity in Heaven because the bible tells us so. โ€œSo faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Godโ€ (Romans 10:17). I still remember singing the chorus as a child Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so. Yes, the bible tells me so โ€“ thatโ€™s how know who Jesus is, that He is the Creator, that he died and rose from the dead, and that He is our Savior.

So um, that first Wildcard+Thousands stream was... *amazing* and also... a *lot* ๐Ÿ˜… In the end, it was *exactly* what we were hoping for - a true stress test of ALL these systems coming together for the first time. We are SO grateful for the thousands of people who showed up today to play, attend, tune-in and help us PLAYTEST all this new stuff. We can't wait to see you all again at NEXT WEEK'S EX2 EVENT! So, now let's talk about how it went... Stuff that worked: - Our community SHOWED UP. Oh boy did you show up ๐Ÿ˜…. Our servers were straining under the load... which is good actually, in fact it's the whole point. Even more importantly, we have already received insanely valuable feedback, bug reports, stuff people loved/hated - and it's only been a few hours since the stream ended. I can't even explain to y'all how valuable this process is. Yes it's stressful, it reminds me of trying to keep Words With Friends online during that first insane year, but it's EXACTLY what we were hoping for (NEED) to turn this into the polished, top-notch game and streaming experience we are on a mission to deliver. I truly can't thank y'all enough, and hope to see you again when we run it all back again next week ๐Ÿฅน - The stream itself stayed up and was mostly stable! Phew ๐Ÿ˜…. For context, ThousandsTV is not a twitch wrapper, it's a web3-native streaming tech stack built we built specifically to connect game, web/mobile, and blockchain together all at the same time. There are a LOT of moving pieces going on behind the scenes. - We brought viewers INTO THE GAME! Viewers showed up in the stands of the arena, with connected wallets/assets, triggered actions/rallies from chat, and were seen and heard during the whole stream. - The brand new 2v2 build of Wildcard was (mostly) stable and our players and viewers seemed to be having a blast down on the field and up in the stands. It was thrilling to watch Team Blue dominate, even though Team Red held their own in game 3! - Our production crew did an insanely good job running the stream, managing the players, shoutcasters, and talent, and producing a top-notch show. Of course we will work hard to make every stream better than the last, but I was super proud of how our team "rolled with the punches" during today's event. Stuff that didn't work (and/or needs to be dramatically improved): - Although it's fun to see chat going crazy, chat spam is actually something we are passionate to FIX. As you can see from the attached video, chat spam dominated today's stream and made it impossible for anyone to even see anyone else's messages. We have some GREAT ideas for how to fix this and actually turn chat spam into a FUN and exciting and not annoying thing - but those improvements didn't get shipped in time for this event. - Credits purchasing flow needs a LOT of work. As I'm sure y'all know, bringing money on chain is pretty complicated, and although we've been working hard to make this as seamless as possible, it still needs a TON of improvements. Many users who WANTED to spend money today weren't able to and/or ran into frustrating bugs in the credit purchase flow. Fixing this is obviously a top priority for our team. - Rallies need a LOT of work. Spectator-interactive features like rallies are at the heart of our vision for Wildcard. These "stream apps", as we call them, are the UNLOCK for how spectators, viewers and fans directly connect and interact with their favorite competitors, content creators, and communities. The current rally feature HINTS at this potential, but it needs to be WAY easier to understand, use, and have fun with. Improvements are ON THE WAY. - Referees were only partially working. Referees are a key innovation of the Thousands platform. They are AI-driven "personalities" (NPCs) that pay attention to everything that's happening in the arena, both on the field and especially in the stands (i.e. in chat, during rallies, etc.) The referees then make "calls" at the end of every match, rewarding users for their engagement and participation. Unfortunately, the referees weren't fully functional and seemed to drop the ball on recognizing everyone's contributions (especially people who showed up holding valuable assets such as Wildpasses in their wallets, and people who boosted those rallies with credits.) What's happening next: 1. We are combing through ALL the logs from the event right now, to make sure we don't miss a SINGLE action that our viewers and fans took during the event, including what they brought in their wallets (i.e. Wildpass holders!), any credits that were purchased, rallies that users engaged with, etc. This information is normally processed by our referees, who then determine dynamically how they're going to distribute $WC awards. We were originally hoping to complete this process and the subsequent airdrops within a few hours after the event, but given the amount of data, we need a bit more time to run these scripts (and airdrops) in batches instead of all at once, and make sure ALL of the data is being included. IMPORTANT: I will keep y'all updated in real-time here on twitter/X as this process is ongoing, and let you know the moment it's complete and all the awards have been distributed (i.e. when to go check your wallets ๐Ÿ˜Ž) 2. "On Thursday he called me to sit with his friends, something he usually wouldn't do. He told me how proud he was of me, that I was a fighter and that I was his pride. I didn't understand why he was telling me all this.โ€ Bar Asraf's sister Lihi shared a memory of her brother. This weekend, Bar took his own life at the grave of his girlfriend, Liron Barda z"l. Liron was murdered by Hamas at the Nova massacre on October 7th. Last Wednesday, Bar danced at his brother Maor's wedding. Family members say he was happy, sang, hugged everyone, and was moved by the celebration. On Saturday, the family had gathered at their home. "At noon, he wanted to go to the pool," recalled Lihi. "We said we didn't have a membership, so he said, 'Okay.' When we couldn't find him, we started searching on foot. We thought about where he might be, and we said we'd go to Liron's grave. At first, I didn't see him. Then I saw him lying there. I shouted, 'Bar, get up!'" "Only then did I understand what had happened. At first, I was even afraid that they had killed him. I didn't understand what I was seeing." Bar's family said he and Liron were soulmates. "Liron would come to us all the time, especially on Tuesdays when Mom would make couscous. When he was on a trip to Colombia, she even flew in to surprise him. They were soulmates." Lihi shared that after Liron's murder, "At first he didn't sleep for a week, didn't talk, didn't eat, and didn't laugh. Then slowly he began to recover." "He went back to laughing, talking to people, and spreading Liron's love. He would organize meals for soldiers in her memory, and on Passover he organized the distribution of packages to the needy. He was a person who was always helping others." Bar's mother shared: "Liron was everything to him. She was his best friend and his psychologist. It was important to him to tell her about everything he did. After she was murdered, he would come to the cemetery almost every day. I told him not to go all the time, but only when he really felt the need to go and talk to her, and he listened." "Two months ago he was sitting in the living room and crying. I asked him, 'What happened?' and he told me: 'Mom, it's hard for me without Liron. There's no one to replace her. I miss her.' He hugged me and cried a cry I'll never forget, loudly." "Bar was a boy who loved life. He had a huge heart. He cared so much for his siblings and supported them," Bar's mother said. "On Shabbat, a few hours before leaving the house, he sat with me, ate some of the cakes I made and said to me: 'Mom, only you can organize something like [the wedding celebration], and make sure that nothing is missing.' Then I told him I was going to rest. He told me, 'You deserve it' - and when I went to bed, he just left." His pursuit of Clare was soo strong that at one pint his close friend thought it was cult related. By now Everyone knows the circum surrounding his arrested and the charges he faced in relat to the public case invol Clare Ochieng. But what happene in the week leadi up to his death? Elvis was out on bail having been charged in court in relation to Clare's acid attack. He last days of his life, he visited his home in the village. While at home, he receiv a phone call from his bosses that he was needed in the office, as a resul , he travelled to Nairobi and upon reaching the office, he was given a summary dismissal letter following the painful and unimaginable case that has been ongoing. This is where things took a tragic turn, stress quickly escalated to depression, he started living a solitude life, often not speaking much even with his closed friends and wife who was in the village. On the fateful day, he committed suicide by taking poison while in his house in Amani Court, Umoja two, Nairobi. A white mug and a spoon was found next to him on the floor. In his own words, which you can watch in the video below: โ€œThe support for you is strong and it will always be there, the reason being because the level of injustice that you have faced is indefensible.โ€ He listened when others would not. He gave our members a platform. He publicly recognised the devastating injustice inflicted on 3.8 million UK taxpayers who dutifully paid into the system, but were deliberately left without parity of Covid-19 financial support when they needed it most. During his first speech as Labour leader, Andy spoke about putting political power at the service of people and places that had been waiting too long to hope again. He promised to bring back the hope. He also spoke about the Hillsborough Law and the importance of ensuring that people who have suffered institutional injustice are finally given truth, accountability and justice. The ExcludedUK community is one of those communities. More than six years later, thousands remain trapped by debt, lost businesses, lost homes, damaged health and severe mental distress. More than 40 people connected with our campaign saw no other way out than to take their own lives. Towards the end of his leadership speech, Andy also spoke about supporting British business and rebuilding the economy. That promise must include the company directors, freelancers, sole traders, newly self-employed people and small business owners who were legally prevented from trading, denied fair and equal support and forced to carry the financial consequences personally. These businesses did not fail because they were unviable. They were failed by government policy. Andy has taken part in ExcludedUK livestream events, listened directly to our members and repeatedly highlighted the need to secure justice for the excluded. During our livestream on 24 June 2024, he told us: โ€œThe public see you and the public support you.โ€ He also promised: โ€œWe will work with you to make sure that the excluded is recognised as one of the injustices that this country needs to rectify.โ€ Andy made his commitment unmistakably clear: โ€œI supported you back in the pandemic, and we support you now. The passage of time doesnโ€™t change that.โ€ And he recognised the strength of our case: โ€œThe support for you is strong and it will always be there, the reason being because the level of injustice that you have faced is indefensible.โ€ Today, Andy Burnham is no longer simply one of our strongest supporters. Gujarat sees a GIB chick after a decade, through a novel conservation measure - the jumpstart approach, coordinated by the Ministry, State Forest Departments of Rajasthan and Gujarat, and Wildlife Institute of India. Envisioned by PM Shri Narendra Modi ji in 2011 to conserve GIB in its natural habitats including Gujrat, Project GIB was launched in 2016. As a result the number of birds in conservation breeding centres, started at Sam and Ramdevra in Rajasthan, have reached 73 with addition of 5 new chicks in this season and we are moving ahead towards rewilding of birds in near future. In achieving another milestone, a female GIB, tagged in August 2025, had laid an infertile egg in Kutch, as this population has lost all its males long back. In a major trans-state conservation effort, a captive-bred GIB egg from the conservation breeding program in Rajasthan was transported by road over 19 hours in a handheld portable incubator and was replaced in the nest on 22 March. The female completed incubating this fertile egg and hatched it on March 26. The field monitoring team found the young chick being reared by its foster mother. This effort is among one of the many steps to recover the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard populations. With the commitment to save GIB, we are making great progress in Indiaโ€™s conservation journey. Congratulations to all scientists, field officers and wildlife enthusiasts who made this possible. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the survival of the chick.
