This is despicable. When will the Igbo people be governed by leaders of their own choosing? This is not good. One could argue that enugu state govt have done this since 1999 but forcefully taking people’s ancestral lands without adequate compensation has has to stop.

For the sake of expansion and modern day development,I think Enugu needs more of that,especially being the capital of eastern Nigeria. But I advocate for proper and full compensation without any dime owed. He should relocate them,probably build a comfortable bungalow for them or as equal as any building that’s affected. Allocate lands to the owners of lands their or equivalent. Government has enough money for that.
