That David Attenborough fellah needs looking at - always going on about climate change when he should just be talking about the colour of a parrot.

It's no wonder that Maitlis, Sopel and Goodall left the BBC.

I guess you are right that invoking nazism in a public argument is not a great way of winning such argument, but the parallels between 1930’s Germany and the behaviour and general direction of the Conservatives are startling.

Why does lineker need to be impartial? He’s a football pundit. Not a news anchor. Lawrence fox was an actor. Is he impartial?

@BestForBritain The story about the loan for the PM has just vanished. #BBC and newspapers agree on this. Concentrate on @GaryLineker . Just as the Commons procedure on lies is no longer a story. Concern focus is Sue Gray.

This is all nonsense. He made the perfectly legitimate comment on Twitter under his own name. He didn’t say it on Match of the Day, for God’s sake.

Perhaps when Gary is summoned to the BBC headmaster's office he should ask them if he would also have been summoned had his tweet praised the bill?

@BestForBritain I wonder if the BBC powers that be have had a “frank discussion” with the likes of Laura Kuenssberg and the producer and presenter of Question Time?

I don't think the BBC would dare sack Gary Lineker, (is he even an employee or is he a contractor?) I think he knows this, he also knows that Sky/BTSports would crawl broken glass to employ him at a vastly improved salary

@RichardJMurphy Impartiality only goes in one direction indeed! Emily Maitlis, hardly a role model for impartiality
