I always wondered "What if I port my three.js game to Rust? Will it improve performance?" I finally ported it to both Rust Desktop and Rust WASM (that runs on the browser) Comparing the three.js version with the Rust desktop I had a clear winner: Rust desktop. But now I took the time to port it to the web using Web Assembly (WASM) And my conclusion is... A tie! Both versions averaged 42FPS (60FPS if running one at a time) So if your goal is to ship a web game, it doesn't even matter the tech you use. (Three.js is recommended because the ecossystem is huge though) As long you optmize well (Web workers, reduce triangles, draw calls, etc) you should be good to go. But in the event you want to ship a native game to publish on Steam a system language (Rust, C++, etc) will be better for you. Now I want to port the three.js game to Desktop using Electron and see the results. I'll let you know. Btw, I'm open to new freelance projects. If you have anything for me, my DMs are open!

If you think this is just another silly demo made with AI, read this post. You might change your mind, because this demo is about MATH. What you see on the screen is not a render from Blender (obviously, it’s not that good). It’s a three.js app built with Toolcraft. Available on the web and rendered in real time(link in the comments). But Blender still has a lot to do with it. Blender has Geometry Nodes - a powerful node-based system for creating and manipulating procedural geometry. In other words, it’s math. And math is a universal language. And who do you think is pretty good at math? >>> AI. Now you can download or buy Blender files from marketplaces, and when they contain Geometry Nodes for procedural animations, objects, surfaces, or effects, you can transfer that logic to the web. Make it real-time, make it interactive. Materials are a separate story, of course. They can still suck unless you use the right tricks: PBR, HDRIs, material blending, displacement, and faked surface relief. So why is Blender important here? Blender is open source, and many tools around it are open source too. An AI trained on their code. That means it can translate the math from one environment to another quite accurately. If you’ve been struggling to reproduce some idea with AI that you had in your head or seen in some references, and it has something to do with Geometry Nodes, and you can find that idea or a close one in the Blender ecosystem - it means you can transfer it to the web. From product image to video with just one tool - Dzine As you may have noticed, this is one of my favorite tools. It is also very underrated, as probably 50% of my tutorials include some workflow. Simplicity is at the heart of great software. This is one of the reasons why Claude Code has been sticky for me. As a builder, I love planning and brainstorming, and this is now a key focus of Claude Code. I use Shift + Tab a lot to cycle between brainstorming, planning, and execution. This functionality provides the appropriate interface for me to either be very involved or less involved as I please. This works particularly well when building out new and complex features or entire new projects. This saves a huge amount of time. It allows me to tune Claude Code to execute and build more effectively. It also builds a loop of trust, and I often (surprisingly) find Claude Code asking for clarifications when it's confused. Coding agents don't normally do that. I have shared before on the power of brainstorming with AI for longer times. Try it and you will not be disappointed. Vibe coding is fun, but pair it with intentional development cycles, and you watch how far you can take a project with coding agents today.

Major major props to aroha for solving a major limitation with Seedance 2.0. If you've tried uploading audio files directly, you know that Seedance 2.0 actually changes the lyrics and even the song itself BUT if you save out a blank video with the song and upload that video as a video omni reference it gives you perfect lipsync and no style drifting of the audio. I personally haven't notice style drift but it's 100% better than a straight audio upload which makes it unusable. This is actually MAJOR!!! Those music videos you've been wanting to generate with Seedance 2.0 are now solved. I tested this myself with some audio from Suno 5.5 which is the example you're watching right now and it works! I just wish Seedance 2.0 would actually fix the audio upload problem but this is an immediate fix. You don't need to type out the lyrics like I did. I think the best use case for using just an audio file is only if you want to keep a characters voice consistent.

MiniMax H3 Instead of sharing the prompts for each of these videos, I thought it would be more useful to share how I created that prompts. All of the videos were generated with text-to-video. First, find an image with the kind of scene, composition and mood you want to recreate. I used a few YouTube playlist thumbnails as references but Pinterest is also a great place to find inspiration. You can even use your own old or nostalgic photographs. Then upload the image to ChatGPT and ask it to describe the scene. The description it gives you can essentially become your text-to-video prompt. From there, you can generate completely new scenes with a similar composition, atmosphere and cinematic language. You can of course use the reference image directly with image-to-video or as a first frame. But if the original image isn't yours, I prefer using it only as visual inspiration and recreating the scene through text-to-video. This is the prompt I use with ChatGPT: "Describe the scene in this image in English, focusing primarily on what is happening, the characters, their actions and body language, the setting and the overall atmosphere. Also briefly describe the composition, framing, camera angle, approximate lens choice, lighting, color palette and cinematic aesthetic. Keep it concise and scene-focused rather than overly technical."
