Imo this ref is a disgrace to the uniform. This is right in front of here. At what point do we consider and study bias in referees. Many Fever fans were not happy when they seen she was reffing this game.

There isn’t a rule or a foul called “over the back”. I never understand when fans yell it from the stands. Im rooting for the Fever….but on this particular call…Wilson touched the ball well before “illegal contact”. I’m good with a jump ball here.

Love the Fever Can't stand Aja This is a jump ball all day. -They equally gain possession in the air. -Hull pulls her arms down creating the "over the back" look. Is Aja supposed to let go? -Finally... THERE IS NO OVER THE BACK. Find it in a rule book. I'll wait.

What the ref was probably looking at…..both Lexie and A’Ja had combined control while ball was over their heads. Jump Ball was called.

This is the unconscious bias that my colleagues face every time they put on the uniform. This needs to change…there is no excuse. As an industry we wonder why we have difficulties attracting female and minorities to the role. They just don’t see themselves in that role and on the rare occasion they do, this happens. I have seen this very mistake recently when having breakfast with a colleague who was mistaken as a FA. What can we do to change these perceptions?

What if Candace Was Right? Sincerely hoping for Candace Owens safety at this time. Many people have piled on her lately and I understand the natural pushback, considering the subject matter and timing. But, what if she was right? Was if she was somewhat right? Do "they" threaten people who disrupt power's ability to operate with impunity? Do we not believe these people operate this way? Have we ever seen anything like this? I sincerely hope for her safety and feel like the context of her "why" is compelling enough for me to at least encourage further investigation. Only time will tell, but there seems to be a pattern here.

Tim Pool is right in his analysis. The officer was NOT in front of her vehicle until AFTER she backed up. The front tires then accelerate while they are pointed towards the agent, and appear to spin out on the ICE. This is all the information the ICE agent had in the moment. Also, there was no reason for her to back up to leave. The road was clear in front of her and the ICE agents were to the left and right of her car. The ICE agent only ended up in front because she backed up. This leads me to believe she wasn’t just trying to leave. Chat - what do you think?
