Like I said, another uncosted populist bullshit policy bingo...fucking hell. And 40h too ? considering 40h is just first 3 days of the week for a lot of people - which services will be cut to pay for this ?

If this latest unfunded tax cut ever does get implemented it will create a work slow culture which will destroy both business and the economy and put millions out of work That is just a fact so stop treating the british people like Idiots because that policy is economic suicide

Populist nonsense without any clue how they’ll pay for it. Straight out of the Trump playbook.

(Reform HQ) Shit, we need a quick announcement to distract from the £5m, from Bull’s disappearance and the fact that our candidate for Makersfield is the very worse we could ever have chosen. Thoughts people?

Excellent policy. Next should be abolishing inheritance tax.

At this point I'm surprised you're not offering free ice cream and a new car to distract from: Farage's money Tice's tax dodging Your boy Rob the neo-fascist perv Bull getting sacked and going silent There's too many... Point being @ZiaYusufUK none of that is going away.

Is it now your job to come up with stupid unworkable ideas to distract from Nigel Farage's growing tally of shifty shenanigans?

Most sensible policy I have heard in years. If someone wasn’t expected to do extra hours then the exchequer would not have been expecting the tax. Rewarding hard work 🩵

This is fantastic to eliminate seasonal demands on businesses, where extra staff would be uneconomical. Where I work we've all been pushed into the 40% bracket this year, so no one is volunteering to give up precious time for only half the pay

Nothing says 'Important policy announcement' quite like a Twitter video from the back of a fucking car! You are the most unserious party on the planet!

This has to be one of the most ludicrous policies ever. So OBVIOUSLY open to abuse, clearly unworkable and -once again - totally uncosted and unfunded. What are you going to cut?

Neil Shirtcliffe's profile picture

You missed the part where you detail how you are going to afford this....as usual.

This all sounds a bit desperate. NF on the Hook. Makerfield not going as well as you'd hope, so you chuck the working men and women some Crumbs all the while NF sits on Millions. If this is the best you can offer, then God help us.

1. Unemployment up as firms will not take on extra staff especially those on short hours 2. Base salaries will fall as wages are advertised 'up to £75k*' 3. Mental and physical health will suffer as people work all hours to make ends meet

@biggle1908 Yeah except if you’re a highly productive person earning more than £75k… in other words the majority of the people paying the majority of income tax.

Brilliant idea! And as you can see by some of the comments on this thread, encouraging people to work will always be despised by the Leftists. This indoctrination that if you work and are successful then you are somehow bad and must give your money to the government to waste! Benefits Britain, as we transition to a third world economy under Liebour🤮🤮

Can you share the costings for this “policy”? No costings just makes it an unaffordable PR stunt.

@RichRat59 How about you move the fiscal margins. Tax at £12’500, is absurd. This should easily be set at £25’000, by now. Day light robbery.

So discrimination among workers. The party of working people 😂 What about those on less than 40hrs? Those on zero hour contracts you’d reinstate? Those who’s work dont offer overtime but TOIL instead? Not to mention cost to the treasury. Absolute car crash policy.
