It’s high time we humans stop exploiting these innocent souls. Donkeys the most abused and neglected animals in our country continue to suffer silently. Even with so many alternatives available, we still use them for heavy load carrying, pushing them beyond imagination and endurance. They work in extreme heat, without proper food, water, or medical care. Their pain goes unseen, their cries unheard. It’s time to rise above convenience and choose compassion. These gentle beings deserve rest, care, and dignity not exploitation. Let’s speak for them. Let’s stand for them. Because kindness is the only load worth carrying. #AnimalAbuse

Scott and I took some time for a little self-care yesterday at J. Lynn Skin, and let’s just say—it was eye-opening! We both got laser treatments to improve our skin health. J. Lynn Skin used a machine to analyze the age of our skin, and let’s just say… we weren’t thrilled to find out that our skin is actually older than our real ages. Years of sun-worshipping and life’s wear and tear have definitely left their mark. I opted for the Moxi Laser—a more treatment designed to improve skin texture, repair sun damage (thanks to my younger self who thought sunscreen was optional), and reduce fine lines. It’s known for being a milder option with minimal discomfort and a recovery time of about 7-10 days. Scott went for the heavy-hitter! He got the TRL Laser Treatment around his eyes to target under-eye bags and deeper wrinkles, paired with the Moxi on the rest of his face to tackle stubborn sunspots. Concrete is very tricky. To get the right quality you have to get the proportions right. Cement, sand, granite, and water all have specific roles to play. Too little cement, too much water, or the wrong proportion of sand and granite can significantly reduce the strength and durability of the concrete. And that's before you even consider proper mixing, compaction, and curing, all of which are just as important. This is why every mix ratio and every specification from the structural engineer exists for a reason. Ignore them, and the concrete will eventually expose the mistake.

The amount of times I post picture of our pigs, contained by electric wires, moved within the forest and on pasture - that my pigs will somehow become feral problems for society is incredible. Complete misunderstanding of proper management of pigs within appropriate boundaries. If my pigs get “out” they are searching for me - specifically me who they know keeps their food and when I’m around they only know means food and water. All I have to do is call “pigs” - they know my voice or fire up the tractor and the come running to me. This is an overgrown, part of the farm harboring invasive weeds and vegetation that in about 3-5 weeks these breeders cleared. By the end of the week they will be moved to the region beyond this which is totally overgrown and do the same thing - preparing the area for seeding of native plants and general regrowth. This is regenerative agriculture - maybe not always picture pretty, but actually useful.
