🙏💔😢It has now been 65 days since aid has crossed the borders, 65 days since a single piece of food or medicine or even water was allowed to enter into 💔🇵🇸😞#Gaza. The markets are empty and deserted, visiting them is a great risk, and there is nothing there worth going for anyway. 🫂 I am feeling physically better than I was previously, my friends. The terrible pain and fatigue that seemed to settle in every corner of my body has lightened, but the terrible situation we are in weighs down on us heavier than ever, and the news only continues to point us towards our certain death. I'm unsure what to even say to you some days. It's hard to convey the urgency of our request when we ask you for help, that people will die before our eyes if we cannot continue to operate the kitchen, and that every day we have to choose who to help and who to refuse. It's like we're living in hell or something arguably worse. My friends and I wish to continue to help the desperate hungry people with food and water, but we urgently need more donations to do this. I want to look after my family, too, and the cats in my shelter, which is becoming increasingly difficult every day. Please help us, my friends, I hate to beg but we are dying and we desperately want to live and to help others to live too. Things have never been this bad, please stand by us and support us if you can. We desperately need donations, and more than anything, we need lots of aid to come in and this cruel war to end. We want peace. It would mean so much to me if you would share my message, and please donate if you are able to, my great friends. You are wonderful people who continue to stand by us, and we will never forget you and your kindness to us in this miserable time. 🫂🙏💔 🚨🫂🙏😢 🐈🐾😞 🫂🙏😢🐾 🐾🫂🙏 🇵🇸🙏😞🐈

🥺I almost don't know what to write to you today, my dear friends. Things here are reaching new levels of terror and desperation every day, and there seems to be no end in sight. There is very little comfort to be found in 💔🥺🇵🇸#Gaza, my friends, but we find what we can to hold on to. Thankfully everyone here is fine, but I don't know how long we can be okay.. I hate to constantly beg you, especially because I know you are already doing your best, but we desperately need your support. Financially, the outlook is very grim, and the future is scary and uncertain. The decision to stay or leave is constantly on my mind, and all I want is to keep my family safe and help the poor and desperate families who rely on us. And help the animals, of course. I know we have asked you a lot, for nearly two years now, but if you could spare even a little, it would help us out a lot. My friends and I, we talk a lot about how grateful we are for the many people who talk about us and care about the work we do. You are saviours to us all, and I hope one day this will all be over and we will bring you more happy updates and not have to beg you so much. Until then, I hope you can be there, my friends. Take good care of yourselves, you are wonderful friends.. 🙏 Our Cruelty Free Kitchen 🫂🙏🇵🇸 Our Water Project 💧🙏 My Family Survival Fund + Looking after the Cats 🐾🐈🥺🫂 My PayPal 🙏🇵🇸🥺🫂🚨🆘️ 🐾🐈

🇵🇸🫂I have been waiting a very long time to write these words to you, my dearest, most wonderful friends. For the past 3 hours, I have not heard a single noise from gunfire or explosions, and 🇵🇸🕊🌿#Gaza is experiencing a level of peace we have not felt for so long now. We don't know what the coming days and weeks and months will bring, but this peace is so meaningful and so beautiful. All we can hear is people and birds and it is the greatest gift I could have asked for. I have tears in my eyes as I write to you. Of course, we are anxious that this will not last, but the hope is so strong now, and living and surviving this nightmare seems like it finally could be possible for us. I want to thank you, my friends. Not only did you stand by us and many other people with your kind words and generous donations, but you fought very hard for us to survive and for this day to happen. We have lived through so much for two years, and I personally have seen and witnessed things that will scar my heart forever. Please pray that this could really be it, my friends, that we can finally live in peace. We can begin to recover and process the things we have experienced, and finally think about tomorrow as a real possibility, as something that could really happen for us all. Our conditions will not completely change overnight, unfortunately, and so I am afraid I must ask you to continue your support for us if possible. If peace lasts, it won't be long until we can help more people and animals🐾 again, and it would be wonderful to be able to do this. I hope you can feel happy with this update, my dearest friends, and I wish you all a very beautiful and wonderful day as amazing as you all are.. 🙏🥰 My Family Survival Fund + Looking after the Cats 🐾🐈🥺🫂 Our Cruelty Free Kitchen 🫂🙏🇵🇸 Our Water Project 💧🙏

mark’s speech for the world, at the world environment day 2026 “hello everybody, my name is mark lee. it is an honor to be here today. thank you so much for inviting me to world environment day and to Azerbaijan here in Baku. it is a beautiful city. before i sing you guys a song, i would like to tell you a short story. i visited kenya earlier this year, and at that time, i was going through a very important time in my life. i had to make a very important decision for my career and for my life. and so i had a lot of people giving me advice, asking me questions that i didn’t really know the answer to. i was going through a strange, confusing period of time. but i was in kenya and so i went on a safari. i saw so many beautiful animals, and i saw a lion. and at that moment, i kind of realized that sometimes its not really important to know the answer to all these questions or to know if you’re perfectly ready for everything, but rather whether you’re willing to take the next step toward real change. so i made this song in kenya. its called “ready or not” and if i am correct and if we’re all getting the same memo, i do believe that our planet is asking us the same question. not whether we’re ready, but whether we’re willing to raise our voices and take this step. whether we’re willing to care enough to create real change. i believe our souls all have this longing for a better world and i think thats one of the truest pieces of evidence there is that a better world could exist for everybody.”

From northern Gaza ✌🇵🇸... It may be the last message or the last post, and we may or may not meet, but we will remain in the north in Gaza City, if only for the last person. Please pray for us to be steadfast... My friends and dear ones.. I am your friend Mo and this is a new update.. First of all, I want to apologize for not responding to everyone. Everyone knows that we in the north are subjected to a hideous massacre, and it is dangerous for me to go to a place from which I can receive an Internet signal... Believe me, when I see your message, this does not mean that I ignore it. This means that the signal is weak and the Internet is slow. But I see your comments and support with love.. I went to the doctor and had an ultrasound examination to check the tumor and blue marks in my abdomen. The doctor was satisfied with my condition and told me that it was just bruises from the surgery... We are still living in terrifying and difficult times.. The army is still waging a military campaign in the north.. and the tanks are about 1.5 km away from me.. I'm wondering for how long? When will this nightmare end? When will we get out of this hell? Death is no longer terrifying... This life is more terrifying... We still struggle every day to get food. They are still besieging us and using starvation as a weapon against us.. Me, the cats, and my family are all fine. The video below is of my daughter Julia helping me take care of the cats.. there is an idea came to my mind to plant a garden in order to get some vegetables. I bought the seeds from the black market for very ridiculous amounts.. and it will take approximately 3 months for the vegetables to mature.. We don't know if we will stay in the north or if we will live to eat from it. But it is worth the risk... because we miss eating fresh vegetables.. I hope you will support me to get through these difficult times We depend on the black market to get food and food is 100 times its basic price. Your support helps me survive.. and I will be very grateful to you for supporting me.. Even if you cannot support me financially, your moral support and retweets help me a lot, and I appreciate that. Thank you for caring about me, my friends.. I love you all 💗

Would you want to be a teacher on your staff as a principal? I have often asked teachers, would you want to be a learner in your own classroom, but the question above for administrators could be even more critical. If we do not support those closest to students every day in an effective manner, it is much harder for things to improve in schools. If we want learning to look different in classrooms, then leadership must also evolve. This doesn’t mean that everything done in the past has been wrong. Some things that mattered 50 years ago will matter now, both in learning and leadership. But replicating everything that was done in the past, whether it was effective or not, isn’t a great strategy for moving schools forward. I was blessed to learn from some amazing principals in my career, but I also learned about things that I hated as a teacher and swore that I would do my best not to replicate those strategies. I wrote this in my upcoming book co-authored with Allyson Apsey (Allyson Apsey) titled, “What Makes a Great Principal”: “If we do things in our schools and classrooms that were done hundreds of years ago that still work today, we should continue to do them. On the other hand, if we do new stuff just because it is new, but it doesn’t work, we shouldn’t be doing it. Whatever works for our community is where our focus should be, no matter when it originated.” What worked in the past? What would you change? What would you have wanted as a teacher, and how can you make that happen? Simply replicating the strategies of the past, whether good or bad, will not necessarily lead education to a better future. Innovation is crucial to leadership as much as it is to teaching and learning.

A message from Catherine, The Princess of Wales As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can. Despite all that has gone before I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life. William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright. 🎬 by Will Warr
