god im so tired of stupidass data centers

My thing is I’m wondering wtf they are even for. It’s far too suspicious. Like- what do we need a center half the size of Disney world for exactly? It can’t JUST be for making kirkified images or whatever

This is very important, what more can I do to be part of the pushback against this?

As far as this one in particular there’s not much more than petition which I don’t think will really do much tbh :( I just wanted to repost it for any followers in the Lexington area but I believe we csn call the mayors office and tell them not to build

Id say if you post video of this kind, try giving us resources and spread ways to help preventing this from happening. I dont think spreading awareness is enough

The og post didn’t have any links and the only stuff u could find was a change .org petition with the goal of 25 votes. It just upset me a lot and I wanted to at least have it be known I’m sorry :(

You dont have to be sorry, Im just sayin. I believe in cases like this its best to research in local communities who live in the area and they probably can be more involved

@sleepyyavaa Well, right now, ai data centers raise the temperature in the surrounding area which contributes to global warming, as well as overall setting the precedent that this is allowed and normal which it’s not ! It’s not so much about us as it is other people who *do* live there

@sleepyyavaa If more data centers are allowed to be created that makes room for them to be widespread and placed everywhere, even in your backyard !!! They take up water, increase power usage and those costs are usually put onto the surrounding residents, *not* the owners of the centers !

@sleepyyavaa They are horrible for the environment and in turn horrible for us as we only have one earth dear Aya ! We have to take care of it if we intend to continue doing things like enjoying Uma museums right?
