“We won’t leave Jantar Mantar till Dharmendra Pradhan resigns,” CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke says at the movement’s second protest at Jantar Mantar. Mr. Dipke appeals to the police to extend CJP’s permission at Jantar Mantar and asks to “open channel with the government for talks, with the condition of Dharmendra Pradhan resigning”.

The BJP had sent goons to infiltrate the protest and tried to create mischief today. CJP and its protesters have a track record of peaceful protests. Young students were assaulted by the Police to send a message - never dare to raise your voice again. Abhijeet says the brutal repression of the youth shows the govt is not happy with just taking 20 NEET students’ lives. They would have killed protestors had we continued to push our way through and reach the Parliament. That’s why we are now back at Jantar Mantar where our peaceful protest continues.

#WATCH | "We wanted to protest peacefully, but they made us a target of tear gas. Democracy is being strangled," says Omar Abdullah. "We have come to our national capital to demand our rights. Unfortunately, they are not allowing us to protest peacefully. Democracy is being strangled. There are at most 100 of us who have come from Jammu and Kashmir with the hope that we would be allowed to protest peacefully at Jantar Mantar and demand our rights from the Central government. We also wanted to remind the Centre of the promise it made on the floor of Parliament and before the Supreme Court to restore statehood to J&K after the elections. The Supreme Court had directed the Centre to restore statehood to J&K as soon as possible. Abhijeet Dipke arrived at the Delhi airport. - He was expecting a lot of people to welcome him but very few people were there. - Delhi Police was also there and gave him permission to protest at Jantar Mantar till 5 PM. - Dipke's plan to go to Police Station and play victim card busted. - Dipke will now go Jantar Mantar where some like minded individuals will shout in 40°C. - At around 5 PM, Dipke will tell Delhi Police that he wants to protest till 10 PM. - And Delhi Police will give him that permission as well. 😂😂😂 Dipke's plans to play victim card are falling apart at a very rapid pace.

Prohibitory orders under section 163 BNSS are in force in whole of the New Delhi district area so according to that assembly of 5 or more persons, protest marches or demonstrations are not allowed except for the designated protest site Jantar Mantar that too only after permission.
