One of Charlie’s favorite clips was of Rush Limbaugh describing the Godly gratitude of the Pilgrims. He played it every year on the show as a tribute to Rush and as a reminder that real gratitude comes from God and a knowledge that even when facing unthinkable loss and hardship, God is still all good, all loving, all knowing, and all powerful. We faced a lot of loss this year. Unthinkable loss. But God is still on the throne. He’s still all good, all loving, all knowing, and all powerful. “I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.” Philippians 1:20 Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
