It’s going to be a complex and unpredictable and unprecedented era ahead for all of us business people and marketers - the ai 🤖 era is here and there will be many changes but what’s clear at least in the short term ..is that the most creative and most strategic will gain “market share” over time ai will eat up a lot of tasks and process we have valued, we will all have to adjust, we can’t fear it or try to justify why it “isn’t” we must get into our creative and strategic “bags” and learn how to use these tools to excelerate our seeds of “ideas” or “observations” there will also be so much opportunity in the counter to all this technology .. real life events, experiences will continue to explode in value and opportunity… who’s ready ?

The future of design is… engineering. All designers at Vercel now also build, thanks to tools like v0, Claude Code, and Cursor. They've been contributing to our frontends and apps for a while now. But over the past few months, the leap they've made is engineering the design process itself by building agents. A big part of shipping is getting the word out in a compelling way, especially on the X platform, the everything app. In the past, we used to spend a bunch of time hand-crafting images and illustrations for social cards. Our design team built an internal agent and web ui using v0 and Claude Code that makes this process fully self-serve. It even includes a previewer of what the final artifact will look like on X. It's called Leap. It's probably saved us hundreds of hours of work but also massively raised our quality bar. The artifacts it produces are beautiful. If you had asked me even 12 months ago whether our design team would be building their own design tools, let alone be this good, I would call bs. There was no master plan, or God forbid, a "sprint" to make this happen. It just took a handful of prompts to build and it propagated on Slack. Leap is now one of the many agents that helps us run our company more smoothly, built and securely deployed on Vercel for our internal use.

The Last Ninja (1987) by System 3 is considered to be the best selling game ever for the C64 with 2 million units sold. Not the most complex game in history, but possible one with the biggest "wow" factor when first playing it, seeing incredibly beautiful pixel art graphics, one of the best soundtracks ever (Ben Daglish, Anthony Lees), and just hitting perfectly on that 80s Karate and Kung-Fu vibe, which probably captured every teenage boy's mind at the time. Closing in on 40 years and The Last Ninja still gives me nerd chills more than any other game.

We've been hard at work with our customers within PAE(A) and U.S. Army PAE Fires to integrate Blackbeard, the United States most affordable hypersonic weapon, on F/A-18 and HIMARS. Last week, we signed our HOA with the Department of War for 500 Blackbeards per year, minimum, with a clear path to thousands more. The more than 200 Castelion, ARCO/Murray, and contractor teams on site have been hard at work building the home of future Blackbeard production in sandovalcountygov. None of it happens without people in government willing to actually act on the threat in front of us. Grateful to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth Hegseth, Deputy Secretary of War Feinberg, Under Secretary of War Emil Michael, and Under Secretary of War Michael Duffey for setting real demand and giving companies like ours the signal to go build the Arsenal of Freedom. We’re growing fast, and we’re hiring in New Mexico. Come build something that matters.
