@GreatJazzAlbums I heard Monk live at NYC's illustrious "Five Spot Cafe." It remains one of the great thrills of my life (I'm now 84). although nothing equals having had his music brighten and enlighten my world ever since. He is one of the true giants of jazz and American music.
