Face swapping just leveled up. Akool Face Swap just got a major upgrade — designed to make AI video creation faster, smarter, and way more powerful. Now you can process up to 50 files in batch, swap faces directly on GIFs, and benefit from smarter face detection that automatically removes duplicate faces across uploads. We’re also introducing Classic Plus, a new face model, along with Extracted Key Frames for more accurate detection in videos. And for Pro users, you can now keep the original video specs, so your final output stays production-ready. Less manual work. Better results. More creative freedom. Try the new Face Swap on Akool and see the difference. 🚀

I found another impressive AI video tool: getimg. ai The platform uses Stable Video Diffusion and you can generate 4-second videos in landscape, portrait, and square aspect ratios. Here's a sample of my results: getimg.ai

LTX-2.3 Transition LoRA. preserves semantic stability for T2V/I2V without the usual mid-clip identity drift.

Today I suddenly had the idea to see the difference between video editing and video face swapping, hahaha. The difference in the results is very obvious. For this example, I used Wan 3.0 Video Edit and a video face-swap model.

LTX-2 is the first truly open-source audio-video generation model, and it's extremely impressive. Production-grade, native 4K 50 FPS output generated entirely on your own hardware. 2,382,172 Hugging Face downloads in the last month says it all. LTX 👏

More LTX IC LoRA experimentation - I’m currently training a LoRA for seamless transitions. I think this one’s close to being ready to ship 🚚💨

None of the video gen models do a real CRT terminal animation look. So I trained my own with fal. CRT-anim : open-source LoRA for LTX-2.3 22B. Runs on fal + ComfyUI.

Testing out this LTX 2.3 LoRA for removing objects blocking a shot. There’s still a bit of jitter when the face goes out of view, but coming from shooting weddings, I definitely would’ve tried using this to save shots when something was blocking my view.

If the engine is strong enough, you should be able to build real products on top of it. That's the whole point of LTX-2.3. Introducing LTX Desktop. A fully local, open-source video editor running directly on the LTX engine, optimized for NVIDIA GPUs and compatible hardware.
