The landlord who owns this apartment complex did not want to pay for a real maintenance man. Instead she hired her son with no real experience to do the job to save some money. Throughout the years I’ve seen some horrendous attempts by landlords to save money. I’ve seen people run extension cables in the walls instead of hiring electricians. I’ve seen crumbing stairs with no hand rains and concrete holes patched with loose gravel and many other things that reek of the landlord special. I’ve lived in a house in college where the landlord rewired the electricity himself. Apparently there was a light switch in the basement that many of the outlets were wired into. However the light switch itself did not actually control any lights. The way he wired it and I’m sure it wasn’t meant to be like this but it controlled the outlets wired into it instead of a light fixture. One of my visitors was trying to turn on the light in the basement and tried that switch unknowingly shutting off power to the kitchen and living room. I thought it was a blown fuse, went downstairs and tried to reset the breaker and nothing happened. It wasn’t until I had to hire my own electrician and took days of tracing wires that we found out what happened.

A Christian nation would never have thought that owning slaves was pleasing to God, or that it lined up with Scripture in any way, shape, or size. And we not only practiced it, but we were so obsessed with it that we went to war about it. We had a civil war. And in that civil war, 500 000 Americans died. That's more than Americans that died in World War II or any other war we've ever had, our own civil war. We killed 500 000 of our own people so people could have the right to own other people as property.

Here is a video from when I got my Shelby electric incandescent light bulb from 1901 this is the same type of bulb as the centennial bulb which has been constantly burning since 1901 in Livermore California the filament in this bulb is made of carbon and it is 5 times thicker than modern filament. Hearing that the incandescent is about to be or already has been phased out because of inefficiency reminds me of this video and the Shelby light bulb these were made to last forever and a bulb that lasts forever will not be thrown away and the materials will still be in use vs a modern incandescent or light bulb where the materials are just thrown out never to be seen again. Enjoy 🙂
