Stroll get’s told that Leclerc is behind 8 tenths and Antonelli is PUSHING behind 4 tenths and he should watch him. Then his engineer is telling him that Antonelli 3 tenths and Leclerc 6 tenths behind are "possibly" both pushing. This is really interesting and highlights the extraordinary achievements in China against desertification. We're currently driving during our Xinjiang RV roadtrip in the North of the Taklamakan desert (2nd largest moving desert in the world!) and it's crazy to see the difference in landscape between settled villages - where anti-desertification efforts were made - and the actual baren desert. Video 1 and 2 below 👇 where filmed within literally 5 minutes of each others. In video 1 we drive through a small village that was de-desertified: as you can see you have the feeling you're driving through anywhere but a desert. Trees, crops, greenery all around - it feels like a completely different region. And then five minutes later, in video 2, reality hits: what the place actually looks like without human intervention.
