In 1961, NY's zoning code reflected the values of that time: redlining, segregation, suburbanization - cars cars cars. We’ve been planning & building our city under those archaic mandates ever since. Our values have changed but our zoning has not. It’s time. #LiftParkingMandates

You pay yourself from donations to push your agenda that communities don't agree with. Get a real job.

Same bunch of signholders, same narrow minded approach on your part. Also, large parts of NYC are suburban in nature, and happily so

Ridiculous request. Parking is required storage for vehicles like Uber, Lyft, Door Dash, PostNotes, yellow cabs, vendor trucks & cars used by NYers with long commutes, mobility challenges & major health concerns. To make space above ground, we need underground parking.

California has the nation’s highest housing costs. Some blame a housing shortage; others, government policies. We sit down with experts to explore what’s driving costs and discuss the state-mandated Housing Development initiative and why some cities push back.

Yes people live differently - but many need car to travel out of the city, care for those with mobility issues, work. Not as much as in the past maybe but still do. We need more acceptance of diversity We need and should have min parking in all new large residential buildings

At a time when victim shaming women who are beaten and abused made sense, @saraklind as a spokesperson made sense and reflected the values of that time. Now, that Domestic Violence is criminal act, it's time to replace her. Move on. @savetheuws @westsideco_org

I'll try again

Don’t you have a gas guzzler SUV parked in Manhattan @saraklind ?

NYers want hardened daylighting everywhere! Join us & @TransAlt TOMORROW at 9 AM on the City Hall steps to call on our city officials to pass Intro 1138 which will bring daylighting to all of our intersections. After the rally, join us to testify! RSVP:
