As a longtime Conservative — now ex-GOP — living in Mobile, I call on the state legislature to reject the proposed SB129 anti-DEI legislation. I’m sick and tired of Alabama politicians who make our state a national and global laughing stock. #GoodTrouble

There is no good or valid reason to ban these programs. The younger generations don’t harbor the decades of ingrained prejudice and bigotry which pollutes the minds of many lawmakers who are trying to drag us all back to the past. Kudos to these students for standing up to them!
