Java 26 is completely changing the AI game! 🔥 @Oracle is coming for Python by dropping Helidon AI, MCP & JEP 516 to crush cold starts. Python might win the research lab, but Java wins enterprise scale with 31x faster speeds. Oracle absolutely cooked a beast of an AI engine! 🚀

A legendary voice actor known to so many of us as the voice of Optimus Prime, but also someone who became a small yet memorable part of World of Warcraft history. Peter Cullen was the original narrator for the E3 trailers for World of Warcraft, helping introduce the game to the world with that unmistakable voice. Thank you for the memories and for lending your legendary voice to so many iconic moments. You will be missed. ❤️

Chris Lattner (Chris Lattner) is one of the most influential engineers of the past two decades. He created LLVM, Swift, contributed to TensorFlow, and created the Mojo programming language. What was the story about creating Swift - and why did he face resistance inside Apple when wanting to replace Objective C? What did he learn at Tesla, Google and CPU maker SiFive, that led him to working on Mojo at Modular? We cover these and many more in today's episode. Watch or listen: • YouTube: • Spotify: • Apple: Brought to you by: • Statsig — The unified platform for flags, analytics, experiments, and more. • Linear – The system for modern product development. My favorite quote from Chris in this episode: “I believe in the power of programmers. I believe in the human potential of people that want to create things. And that’s fundamentally why I love software is that you can create anything that you can imagine.”

One of the most challenging things for this project was texturing it in a way that can fool the viewer into thinking it's real, it took many many attempts and many variations of the textures to reach this final one. Textured in Substance Painter.

Apple software is of the highest quality in the world. The attention to details, the refined programming. They are years, maybe decades, ahead of us and it will take a lot of studying to even begin to understand how they have built this.

#WATCH | Ahead of India's flagship semiconductor-focused event, Semicon India 2025, Chris Ripley, President and CEO of Sinclair (One of the largest US news media companies), says, "We recognised that the expertise available in India was second to none in the world. We've invested heavily in India to produce next-generation wireless technologies like what I have in my hand here. This tablet is powered by a D2M chip, designed in India. A great example of how India is leapfrogging the rest of the world in critical wireless technologies and semiconductor design, and driving innovation and new products in the US and the rest of the world."

“There is a history between China and Africa, for many years, that goes back many decades. When Africa was, most of the countries on the continent were getting independence, they had a lot of support from China at the time. Now the cooperation presents more value in terms of trade, investment. This relationship doesn’t come with a lot of strings attached like we have had with many other parts of the world. We get more in terms of lectures and not so much in terms of value.” President Kagame | Doha Forum 2024. For full panel discussion:

IEEE recently recognized the 40th anniversary of the FPGA at an event at AMD in San Jose. When it made its debut four decades ago, the FPGA introduced a new kind of flexibility in hardware that has reshaped the semiconductor industry. The IEEE event honored AMD and the engineers, partners, and customers who made it possible. It also paid tribute to the decades of innovation and collaboration that continue to power innovation across so many applications, from communications, automotive, and industrial systems, to aerospace, data centers, and physical AI systems at the edge.
