In 1996 a Russian philosopher wrote the strategy Russia is executing today. His thesis: The West will collapse from within. Secularism. Individualism. Liberalism. These ideas destroy community. Russia's only job: Stay coherent. Stay unified. Wait. "Civil war in America." "Collapse of Europe." "Collapse of China." All predicted. All in...

How the world could look like in 2035:

The post flatters him too much. He was early about Western decadence as a strategic vulnerability. He was far less accurate on China, which inconveniently refused to collapse on schedule.

Do you think Russia is not collapsing? Moskow divorce rate, shrinking population, HIV,alkoholism, personaly I see that most inteligent people left or living Russia. Russians that I know call it mafia state, Russia 50years ago was much stroneger than today compared to competition

Sounds like classic conservatism. Blaming liberals and freedom from religion for the ravages of capitalism. If you want a caregiver in the home, make one job enough for each household. Very simple.

The problem is: compared to the West Russia is - more secular (church influence extremely weak ) - more atomized (individualism is good actually, Russians are atomized) - more liberal (in sense the word "liberal" is used here: multiculturalism)

@AGDugin Great, except Russia killed all of it’s young men with the war, and now they are demographically doomed. They physically cannot replace their population, they’re going extinct. Further, they have so far failed to capture Ukraine. Maybe that changes, but it’s not certain.

Ukraine assassins murdered Dugin's daughter a few years ago. Ukraine is currently a terrorist state.

It's kinda weird to think that a country with a GDP of Italy (WITH OIL AND GAS) will be in a good position. Unity/coherence means nothing when it's forced.

China will not collapse. The Russia China confrontation is inevitable. Christianity vs Communism! Who will win? Both ideologies are undefeated so far.

Secularism. Individualism. Liberalism is what drives emergence and evolution. The opposites of these ideas is the Soviet Russia and that is a model that died. Russia has a chance of evolution every time the guy in Kremlin dies. Compare that with every 4 years and true democracies

Guys, I'll tell you a secret - similar texts are circulating on the Russian-language network, but the context is different - Russia is going to collapse, and China, Europe, and the United States want to take over. "Divide and conquer" is what it is.

If my great thinker's main idea could be wrapped up as "it doesn't matter if we fall behind on most metrics, all our enemies are going to collapse, while we will be standing strong" then I'd be a tiny bit worried about wishful thinking.

There is something sinister abt Jiang. He is gaining popularity thru sensational claims & “insights”. But they are seeds of disruptions against China & Russia. In Russia as 3rd Rome he claims: - Russia wants Ukraine to expand - China will collapse Both are untrue.

Everyone is prone to mistakes. We, too, have made numerous mistakes, as has the wider world. Yet the difficulty for the globalist West lies here: following the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, they perceived themselves as standing atop the “summit of Mount Olympus,” and evidently concluded that, firstly, they were permitted everything and, secondly, that they themselves were incapable of error. In the security sphere, it has taken the form of attempts to put pressure on the Russian Federation, initially through the use of terrorists in the Caucasus and separatists, then via other methods, and now – by means of the neo‑Nazi regime in Ukraine. This process continues unabated.
