Prime Minister Bjarni Benediktsson and I signed a security cooperation and long-term support agreement between Ukraine and Iceland. The fixed annual financial support for 2024-2028 is at least €30 million. Iceland pledged to provide Ukraine with long-term economic, humanitarian, and defense assistance, as well as to facilitate its future EU and NATO membership. A unique feature of the agreement is that Iceland commits to continued support for the transportation of military supplies and equipment from NATO allies to Ukraine by chartered cargo planes. We are grateful to Iceland for supporting our people in their defense against Russian terror and aggression. 🇺🇦🇮🇸

The concept of a wide-screen foldable smartphone can be traced back to a concept video Samsung showcased at CES 2013, 13 years ago. At the time, foldable phones were still a futuristic vision, far from becoming commercial products. Today, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, weighing just 201 grams and measuring only 4.5 mm when unfolded, is the lightest large foldable smartphone ever released by any brand. In many ways, it is beginning to resemble the futuristic device Samsung envisioned in that concept video more than a decade ago.
