The Democratic Party I grew up with went into working towns and said we're going to make your lives better and they meant it. Let me tell you about a moment in May of 2016 that I've never forgotten. I was with Trump in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I started asking people why they were there. One young man told me his father had worked at a factory for 30 years. He'd been there 12. They closed it and he was working at Lowe's and delivering pizza at night. I got hit in the head with a rock in that moment because I grew up the same way. I looked at that young man and asked what should we do. He said I don't know, but we were once blue collar and economically aspirational. Now we're blue collar and economically desperational. I missed it. I'm not proud of that. Thank you Scott Galloway and Ed Elson for having me on stage Prof G Markets

Today in Rock History April 1, 2016 Guns N’ Roses returned to their roots with a surprise warm-up show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California. The gig was announced earlier that day, and fans could purchase $10 tickets at the old Tower Records location on Sunset Boulevard (with additional tickets distributed via a guest list). This was the first time since 1993 that Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan performed together on stage. It was also the first show to feature Melissa Reese on keyboards (alongside longtime member Dizzy Reed).

There may never be a more pivotal moment in this city, than Chris Singleton addressing it on the field at CSU. Tonight, I revisit with those who surrounded him that night. Rashard Alston- his best friend. Stuart Lake- his coach. Hayden Lake- a 10-year-old kid who idolized him. Daren Stoltzfus- He reported on it for us that night.

So, what do they do to acknowledge it? They create ridiculous categories in the name of diversity which to me feels like just a fancy word for exclusion.
