I was with Trump in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I started asking people why they were there. One young man told me his father had worked at a factory for 30 years. He'd been there 12. The gig was announced earlier that day, and fans could purchase $10 tickets at the old Tower Records location on Sunset Boulevard (with additional tickets distributed via a guest list). This was the first time since 1993 that Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan performed together on stage. It was also the first show to feature Melissa Reese on keyboards (alongside longtime member Dizzy Reed).
