@M11_brandon01 why the sarcastic reply? They just asked about what is happening here, not that it is useless. Like, are you projecting it, remaking the surroundings in 3d? whether this is the end result or what the process is for.

@M11_brandon01 it's modelling using video as projected texture with a scene constantly changing. the question was about use case therefore the reply. many comments are focused on result/product/something "useful"/efficient. without entertaining the idea that it can be about something else

this looks incredible but im ignorant, what is this edit style called? which platform is this?

it's a screen recording of me modelling in 3d using video texture / projection mapping. the video advances every other modelling step. the recording is sped up to match original

kind of strange working like this as there is only a recording and no way to retrieve anything but the last state of the process

I completely get that feeling, and sometimes recording something on the screen could even give you the impression that someone is silently watching every move ahah

@class50nse there is no final result since the 3d scene kept changing towards the end of the video that was used as texture. if there is a result it is the progress over 215 frames

If you're not using the projected video to re-light the 3d models, I don't understand why it wasn't just a video?
