in a blizzard

this will be my last tune of the year! if you like what i do and want to support me, consider the following: -buy 'ventifact' by miles morkri -stream 'ventifact by miles morkri -donate to my ko-fi

menacing, but in a pretty way..

that is forever the goal

thanks for all the love folks 💜

@father_p_ you can feel the wind and frostbite nipping at your back and eyes. It fills you with determination

also on tiktok for those that prefer vertical video with less compression

This goes crazy hard

thanks so much!

Sounds a bit like Tigran Hamasyan at some points, great stuff!

@kianamosser Me when that flute came in

An absolute AWESOME piece, miles! You've had an amazing year! 😄

💜💜 thanks ben

This was super rad to listen to, would willingly freeze in a blizzard if this was playing in the background

My goodness that was mesmerizing! I adored counting along trying to calculate what time signature you were running at! The swaps between are so cleverly executed! Beautiful work!

@GoreChan9 aw thank you ✨

Of course!! Xx

@NapeMango This is so awesome

this sounds like a song that would play in a blizzard

This is so awesome, like a prog rock jam meets ice level music

Groovy!

0:47 goes wild omg

I’ll only be echoing what others have said, but yeah this is really nice. Great execution of displaced rhythms, sensitivity for dynamics, really solid programming for drums and such. Plus the VIBEZ are immaculate.

you're really good at the music thing

🙏🙏🙏

this is fantastic, please release this song!!!

won’t be for a while! in the meantime you can stream my similarly wacky album, ventifact ✨

that’s the plan, I’ll be waiting for this one too.

💜💜💜

BANGER

How did you program the drums? They sound pretty realistic

i use NI's studio drummer and do a lot of velocity tweaking 🤌

This sounds super cool

@CGarageCoder I like your tune ☺️

kirbys return to dreamland vibes….

“Waiting for Opponents” The piano in this heavily reminds of Kirby’s Epic Yarn, love that game.
