In a recent interview, Sydney Sweeney was asked the inevitable question about when she plans to settle down and start a family with Scooter Braun. ā€œI’m not interested in babies,ā€ she said bluntly. ā€œI just don’t like them. The crying, the diapers, the whole newborn phase… it’s not for...

Respect! Not everyone is wired for the newborn phase, and it’s refreshing when someone is this honest about it.

Everyone is entitled to their own preferences about parenthood. Not everyone dreams of raising a baby, and choosing adoption or deciding you'd rather parent an older child is a valid path if that's what fits your life. What matters most isn't whether someone wants a newborn or an older child it's whether they're willing to provide a loving, stable, and supportive home for a child who needs one.

Then clearly she's still a child herself. A 3rd grader knows taking care of a baby is a lot, bt people have kids to create something so wonderful you couldn't buy, & never sell, for all the $ in the world ... a family. Whatever hardship of babies is compensated by tsunami of good

That's just sad.... Obviously, it's her life to live how she wants, but my babies were amazing - the crying, the diapers, the giggles, the kisses, and the hugs...... They are all adults now and I love who they have become vut they will always be my babies ā¤ļø

She doesn’t understand that you must bond with a child. Newborn feedings. Holding them. Comforting them. You have a hard time bonding with a 6 year old on a deeper level.

@grok Everyone has a different way of starting a family. Giving birth is not the only path to motherhood—choosing to adopt a child and provide them with a better life is also a truly beautiful decision.

#Emibonnie [ An old interview from 16 Jan 2025 ] 🧔: I’m a quiet person. I don’t talk much. When I’m stressed about something, I... šŸ’œ: Like when she's stressed- well, normally she talks, but when she's stressed, she won't say what's she stressed about. She keeps it all inside. 🧔: Yeah, but Bonnie is the type to charge in immediately. I’m not the type to ask for things, I don't dare to ask anyone for help. But when I met someone who the moment she saw I was uneasy or stressed, she just charged right in... I felt like, "Wow, this is so good." Because I never dare to do that with anyone else. View: Is she your type? 🧔: What was that? View: Exactly your type? šŸ’œ: What are you saying~ 5555 🧔: My type~ šŸ’œ: I just feel like when she's stressed, I don't want her to be alone. I want her to have the energy to keep fighting. Sammy: You guys complete each other. 🧔: Honestly, in real life, my age and Bonnie's are quite far apart, but I'm often the one who is weaker. In my real life, I’m an older sister who always has to take care of my younger brother. When I’m with my coworkers here, I don't want to be the "oldest sibling" anymore. It turns out I have a side where I can just be weak. It feels like I have an older sister taking care of me, someone I can lean on. It’s not like how things used to be. If this series wasn't played Bonnie, I don't think I could have gotten through this role.

#JANHAE #JANIVERSE šŸ’¬: does p’ get annoyed with someone who overthinks? 🦊: p’ myself overthinks! i’m one of them. i think a lot! i overthink so so much! i wouldn’t be annoyed. i understand. but the person who gets annoyed is myself, you get it? like ā€œcan you stop thinking already? can you stop please? oh god!ā€ other people might not… the people around me are great. honestly, sometimes they probably get annoyed with me for overthinking too, but they don’t really get annoyed. but the person who gets annoyed is me myself. i get annoyed with myself, ā€œi don’t want to be someone like this!! i don’t want to overthink. why do i keep thinking?ā€ there has to be some way of handling it yourself, like being firm with yourself or having more confidence in yourself 🦊: when i was a kid, i would overthink and be scared that people would not like me, like a kid in primary or secondary school. i was scared there might be people who didn’t like me, because when i was kid, i was kind of good-looking~~ so i had some roles [in school]. many people knew me at school. they often said i was arrogant, or wouldn’t respond when they said hi to me. one, i’m someone who would space out. i didn’t really pay attention. sometimes, i might walk and not pay attention to anything. i would just walk. two, if i was with my friends, i would only focus on my friends. i wouldn’t pay attention to other people. whoever said hi, i wouldn’t really know. so, i was scared then. i didn’t want to go to school. my peers didn't seem to like me. i didn’t say hi when i saw someone. i would overthink, you know 🦊: but i realized, ā€œwhat did i do wrong?ā€ what i did… you know? i didn’t do anything. when i didn’t say hi or smile back, sometimes it’s just that i didn’t see or hear. so when someone said something like this, i was like, ā€œok, i’ll pay more attention. but don’t blame myself, thinking, ā€˜is it my fault or not?’ ā€˜am i a bad person?’ ā€˜am i an arrogant person?’ ā€˜oh my peers criticized me for being arrogant. i’m scared that they don’t like me.ā€™ā€ i was like this when i was a kid. those were just minor things that happened 🦊: but after i got older, i just let it go. i just try to know myself the best i can. i’m someone who doesn’t want to be a bad person already. like i don’t want to be a bad person in other people’s lives either. so i try to be the best person i can be. i really am a good person 5555 i try to be myself as long as other people aren’t troubled, ā€œare other people are troubled or not? does it affect other people? if it doesn’t affect anyone, just do it! there’s no need to be afraid! but i have to think properlyā€

ā€œLips in the Zipped Jacketā€ He said, ā€œI have been hurt before and don’t trust easily. But there’s something about you that I can’t seem to ignore. Who are you, and where did you come from suddenly?ā€ It’s like you just appeared in front of me and left me confused and dazed at the same time. May I ask your name? She said, ā€œNo need to tell you who I am, because my heart belongs to someone special.ā€ He said, ā€œAre you married?ā€ She said, ā€œNo, but I am emotionally unavailable to give you anything because the heart that beats in my chest belongs to someone else.ā€ He asked her, ā€œAnd does this someone else feel the same way about you?ā€ She paused and answered, ā€œThat’s private information I am unwilling to divulge. But all I know is that I wake up thinking about him and go to sleep thinking about him. Sometimes I see myself cuddling with him, and when I’m alone I feel his spirit near me.ā€ He said, ā€œThat sounds like infatuated love.ā€ She said, ā€œInfatuated love is conditional, and it fades when the feeling is only temporary. But my heart has settled comfortably with this love.ā€ He said, ā€œAllow me to love you and show you real love.ā€ She said, ā€œThere’s no such thing as real love. Like beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, love can only be felt in the chest, that it beats. And sometimes you just don’t know why it beats the way it does.ā€ He said, ā€œIf this is true, then give me a chance and let me love you. And all you have to do is wake up every day to be loved.ā€ She said, ā€œI am already loved.ā€ He asked, ā€œWho is this man who has captured your heart?ā€ She said, ā€œMy heart belongs to the one who likes to hide his lips in his zipped jacket.ā€ He said, ā€œHe is surely blessed.ā€ She said, ā€œNo… maybe I am the blessed one.ā€ He said, ā€œNo, trust me. He is blessed to have a loyal woman.ā€ Song written by: Lily C. Alphonsis, PhD Video credit: Incomparable Lily

When it comes to dating, there’s always this debate—drinks versus dinner versus coffee, all of that. My view is pretty simple: if you’re going to go out for drinks, especially at a cocktail bar, you might as well just get dinner. By the time you’ve had two or three rounds, you’ve basically spent the same amount of time and money you would have on a main course and a drink anyway. I think part of the hesitation—especially for guys—is not wanting to invest in a full dinner. There’s this feeling of, ā€œDo I really want to spend two or three hours with this person if I’m not even sure I’ll like them?ā€ And that’s fair. But at the same time, there’s some interesting research suggesting that people actually feel closer to each other when they share a meal. So if you do like the person, dinner can be a better starting point for building something real. The way around that initial uncertainty is simple. If you don’t know the person—say you met on an app—just do a quick FaceTime call first. Five or ten minutes. It’s basically a vibe check. You get a sense of the chemistry, and you can see if they actually look like their pictures. I was in an Uber a couple weeks ago in Austin, and my driver—she was probably in her fifties, recently divorced—was telling me about going on dates. She said half the time the guy’s photos show him with hair, and then she meets him and he’s bald. And she was like, ā€œI’m not trying to date a bald man. If he goes bald while we’re together, fine, but I’m not starting there.ā€ And I told her the same thing: just do a quick FaceTime call beforehand. It solves a lot of that. So my basic recommendation is: quick FaceTime call, then dinner. Skip the whole ā€œlet’s just grab drinks and feel it outā€ approach. If you’re going to meet, just have a normal date.
