It’s easy for us to be filled with guilt and shame when we continually battle with sin- but that is from the enemy! We have to remember we have been forgiven. We will always struggle with sin, and God knows that- His grace covers us! He is PROUD of us for going to war with our sin- not being friends with it. As we grow in our relationship with Christ, our shortcomings and our sin will become glaringly obvious- but that’s apart of the process. Repent, learn from your mistakes, and try again tomorrow. When we align our hearts and minds towards the will of God, we cannot lose.

We checked the funds, and the total reservation before we sleep last night. Today lang nag-sink in sa akin yung Dustbia love actually… like… yes, nakaka-overwhelmed siya and pressure, but at the same time we are very blessed that both of them are giving a huge opportunity, and also we will witness it. Aside from feeling the overwhelming and pressure, I am more than grateful because we used to pray for something like this… a blessing and a project with just the two of them. We prayed for opportunities like this, and now that it’s finally here, I don’t want to let the pressure make me forget how blessed we truly are. And I was reminded of my favorite song today… that God is able. I was so focused on the numbers and the total lately that I forgot that He can perform miracles. That He can make the impossible possible. That He has been so gracious and faithful to us since day one… since the PBB days. Looking back, every blessing, every opportunity, every answered prayer happened because of His grace. There were so many moments when we didn’t know how things would work out, but somehow, He always made a way. And maybe this is His gentle reminder to us that we don’t have to rely on what we can see. The numbers may overwhelm us, but God is bigger than any number. Because the same God who brought us this far is the same God who will continue to guide us through this journey. God is able. Always has been. Always will be. 💛

Territories and the reasons for the war — why he started it, why he occupied these territories. I think it would be useful to talk — not because I want or don't want to talk to him. He is an enemy to me. We need to understand: we don't want war with Russia. I don't trust him and won't trust him, and he doesn't trust me either — that's clear. That's the problem. We give thanks not because we are satisfied or happy with everything or everyone around us. Not because we have the answers to the many niggling questions that keep us awake at night. Not because we know the way. We give thanks because he gave us life. We are still here with a fighting chance, no matter how bleak it may seem. Stirring words from Secretary Rubio: "How do you remember? This is a memorial service to honor him, how do you best remember? I'll take the liberty of saying what we can best do. I think he had a tremendous impact on young Americans in general. I think he had a very special and direct impact on young men in this country, that's one of the greatest of elements I've seen. It's been very positive. I think we remember him for that. I think we remember him for constantly saying you want to live a productive life, get married, start a family, love your country. These are powerful messages. But I hope many who are watching, I imagine there people watching here tonight that didn't know much about Charlie Kirk until 11 days ago. Maybe they were disengaged in politics, may be partially engaged. I hope one of the things that they take from this is the movement that Charlie Kirk led and started and gave few will to was about politics but not only about politics. It was deeper. It was broader and I would say taking the liberty but I am confident he would agree, one of the things he wants us to take away from this, from all of this is to follow Him. His deep belief that we were all created, every single one of us before the beginning of time by the hands of the God of the universe and are powerful god who loved us and created us for the purpose of living with Him in eternity. But then sin entered the world and separated us from Our Creator. God took on the form of a man and came down and lived among us and He suffered like men and He died like a man but on the third day he rose unlike any mortal man. And to prove any doubters wrong, he ate with his disciples so he could see and they touched his wounds. He did not rise as a ghost or spirit but His flesh. And then he rose to the heaven but He promised he would return and He will and when He returns, because He took on the death, because He carried the cross, we were free from the sin that separated us from him. When He returns, there will be a new heaven, and to Earth and we will all be together and we are going to have a great reunion there again with Charlie and all the people that we love."

This video might be a little long, but I made it to capture the footsteps of Charlie Kirk’s recent visit to South Korea, and the steps of love shown to him by Korean patriots, for the Charlie we loved, for his family, for our ally the United States, and for the patriots of my own nation, Korea. I dedicate this video to everyone who loved Charlie Kirk. Charlie’s death will never be in vain. We will remember him forever, and we Koreans will also hold fast to his legacy, join in it, and carry it forward. Charlie’s fight is our fight, and we believe this is a spiritual battle in which God Himself is with us. As the words of Ephesians 6 declare: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” We will rise as God’s army, and we will move forward fearing nothing but God alone. The hardest of decisions has been made. Tomorrow afternoon, our vet, who has been with us every step of this journey, will come to our home and help Ralph cross. Despite eating copious amounts of food, he lost 500kg in 3 weeks, down from 3kg to 2.5kg. His temperature is too low as he is too weak to regulate his body and he is showing signs of muscle weakness. Although no indicator for pain (we checked, twice), he is literally withering away and prolonging this will be completely and utterly for us, not for him and you all know by now, we would never, ever do that to our kids. He is home, on top of our warm bed and he will be so spoiled the next 24 hours. The hardest of decisions has been made. Tomorrow afternoon, our vet, who has been with us every step of this journey, will come to our home and help Ralph cross. Despite eating copious amounts of food, he lost 500kg in 3 weeks, down from 3kg to 2.5kg. His temperature is too low as he is too weak to regulate his body and he is showing signs of muscle weakness. Although no indicator for pain (we checked, twice), he is literally withering away and prolonging this will be completely and utterly for us, not for him and you all know by now, we would never, ever do that to our kids. He is home, on top of our warm bed and he will be so spoiled the next 24 hours. We worry because we think we are in control. But we aren’t- God is. There’s no possible way for us to know what tomorrow will bring. All we can do is trust in the One who does. Scripture says we can’t add a single hour to our life by worrying. Worrying does NOTHING to help the situation- but we still do it because our flesh needs to feel in control. Teach yourself to deny your flesh. Recite scripture or pray in those moments and give it ALL to God. Lay EVERYTHING down at His feet and let go of it. Trust God to actually be God!

James T. Roberson III of Bridge Church NYC denounces the assassination of Charlie Kirk but spends roughly half his statement (and even the following prayer) dragging the man's name through the mud: This morning before we pray, I want to lean into some of the political tension in our country and the recent assassination of gentleman named Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated this past Thursday, I believe. And I've written out a statement here. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 reads this way: "For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God. And we take every thought captive to obey Christ." In this text, Paul is reminding us that as believers, our battle is not a physical battle. It's a spiritual battle God has called us to be a part of. And it is therefore not fought with carnal weapons but with spiritual ones. And I think in this political tension that we live in, Charlie Kirk and other political activists, particularly some on the evangelical right, often see ideas and policies that claim to be Christian, but they're fought with in a carnal posture. They're fighting for Jesus with anger and harshness and rage. And the danger of that is when you when you fight spiritual battles in a carnal way, the world responds with that same carnality. It's as if the world says we know how to do worldly better than you. So, let me be clear. I denounce his assassination veheminently [sic], and we all should. That shouldn't be hard. It's wicked. That's obvious. It is also wicked to celebrate his death. It is carnal to celebrate his death. To lack empathy for someone who doesn't have empathy for you is to live in carnality. At the same time, while he fought for ideals that he believed were Christian, I also denounced the way he carried himself and especially the way he talked about black people. So, here's what I want us to remember as a church, what I need all of us to know. People are not defined by their ideology. They are defined by the image of God. Genesis 1 says "God created them in his own image." So here's what we've got to understand. Charlie Kirk, at his core, is not a Republican or a conservative. He is a child of God made in the image of God who has right-wing positions. And as a believer, we're called to see people not politically but spiritually. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5, "From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh, even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh." I think we're getting some feedback over here, FYI. So, let's be clear. We should be grieving with his wife, his kids who have woken up this morning without a father. We should weep with those who weep, and we should be praying for their families. But I also grieve for our country that elevates people into hero status and martyr status so quickly. Disagreement is not wrong, but it's how we disagree that matters. And my prayer is that we, the people of God, would resist the temptation to fight our battles with carnal weapons. Instead, let us choose a spiritual posture that Christ has given us, because truly, the weapons of our warfare are spiritual and not carnal. Amen. Pray with me. Father, we pray right now that as we jump into the word here, we do lift up the Kirk family. We lift up those who are weeping this morning. And I pray, God, for a spirit of compassion in this room. Make us wise with what we post online. Make us wise with what we watch online. But just because someone fought for Jesus doesn't mean they fought like Jesus. God, I pray for a spirit of peace. I pray that a spirit of fruit in our community and I pray that we would renounce all elements of the flesh. Now, God, be with us. Speak to us in this time. In Jesus' name. Amen? Amen.
