We checked the funds, and the total reservation before we sleep last night. Today lang nag-sink in sa akin yung Dustbia love actually… like… yes, nakaka-overwhelmed siya and pressure, but at the same time we are very blessed that both of them are giving a huge opportunity, and also we will witness it. Aside from feeling the overwhelming and pressure, I am more than grateful because we used to pray for something like this… a blessing and a project with just the two of them. We prayed for opportunities like this, and now that it’s finally here, I don’t want to let the pressure make me forget how blessed we truly are. And I was reminded of my favorite song today… that God is able. I was so focused on the numbers and the total lately that I forgot that He can perform miracles. That He can make the impossible possible. That He has been so gracious and faithful to us since day one… since the PBB days. Looking back, every blessing, every opportunity, every answered prayer happened because of His grace. There were so many moments when we didn’t know how things would work out, but somehow, He always made a way. And maybe this is His gentle reminder to us that we don’t have to rely on what we can see. The numbers may overwhelm us, but God is bigger than any number. Because the same God who brought us this far is the same God who will continue to guide us through this journey. God is able. Always has been. Always will be. 💛

“I don’t want to put any child through what I went through, and if aborting that child means that child will not go through that, then that is the moral thing to do.” This is really hard, and good on Lila Rose for being so compassionate. It’s obvious this woman is really hurt and angry. But the problem with her worldview is that we’re not God. We don’t get to determine whose life is worth living and whose isn’t. When you’re aborting your child, you’re making that decision FOR him, and he may not see the world the way you do. Frankly, he may be stronger and more resilient than you are. He may make something of himself that you failed to do on your own behalf, and regardless, he is an image bearer of God, with a life and purpose that you cannot understand even as his mother. For this woman to sit here and say abused and neglected children would be better off dead speaks to the spiritual sickness inside her and in our culture, and I don’t even think she actually believes it—because she’s still here. She hasn’t given up, and there’s a reason for that. She chooses to keep going, and that is good. It’s not for her to rob other humans of that same opportunity. “Woe to him who strives with him who formed him…Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’” Isaiah 45:9 There is a God. We are not Him. Life is hard for every single person. We have to accept the fact that we cannot know or understand everything. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring—especially if we voluntarily choose to rob ourselves of that tomorrow. And under no circumstances is it moral or compassionate to make that choice for someone else.

Territories and the reasons for the war — why he started it, why he occupied these territories. I think it would be useful to talk — not because I want or don't want to talk to him. He is an enemy to me. We need to understand: we don't want war with Russia. I don't trust him and won't trust him, and he doesn't trust me either — that's clear. That's the problem. My feeling is that his goal was to occupy all our territory, our entire country. And I really want to hear and see that he won't come again. - SK

It is the start of a new week. There are many hurts and grievances. Many disappointments. Some explainable, others not. But in all things, we give thanks to God. We give thanks not because we are satisfied or happy with everything or everyone around us. Not because we have the answers to the many niggling questions that keep us awake at night. Not because we know the way. We give thanks because he gave us life. We are still here with a fighting chance, no matter how bleak it may seem. There's a reason we are still breathing and not on a cold morgue slab. That reason is the hope we cling on to. The faith we keep. The process we trust. He has kept us going for a reason. And for that we give thanks. Keep the faith. Pick yourself up. Your final chapter is not yet written. He has got us all. He NEVER fails! Shalom. 🦁🙏🏾

This video might be a little long, but I made it to capture the footsteps of Charlie Kirk’s recent visit to South Korea, and the steps of love shown to him by Korean patriots, for the Charlie we loved, for his family, for our ally the United States, and for the patriots of my own nation, Korea. I dedicate this video to everyone who loved Charlie Kirk. Charlie’s death will never be in vain. We will remember him forever, and we Koreans will also hold fast to his legacy, join in it, and carry it forward. Charlie’s fight is our fight, and we believe this is a spiritual battle in which God Himself is with us. As the words of Ephesians 6 declare: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” We will rise as God’s army, and we will move forward fearing nothing but God alone. This is the inheritance Charlie has left for us, and the blessing God has given us through him. Though we grieve now, we do not grieve as those without hope. We worry because we think we are in control. But we aren’t- God is. There’s no possible way for us to know what tomorrow will bring. All we can do is trust in the One who does. Scripture says we can’t add a single hour to our life by worrying. Worrying does NOTHING to help the situation- but we still do it because our flesh needs to feel in control. Teach yourself to deny your flesh. Recite scripture or pray in those moments and give it ALL to God. Lay EVERYTHING down at His feet and let go of it. Trust God to actually be God!

The hardest of decisions has been made. Tomorrow afternoon, our vet, who has been with us every step of this journey, will come to our home and help Ralph cross. Despite eating copious amounts of food, he lost 500kg in 3 weeks, down from 3kg to 2.5kg. His temperature is too low as he is too weak to regulate his body and he is showing signs of muscle weakness. Although no indicator for pain (we checked, twice), he is literally withering away and prolonging this will be completely and utterly for us, not for him and you all know by now, we would never, ever do that to our kids. He is home, on top of our warm bed and he will be so spoiled the next 24 hours. He will be hugged so much and will be told we love him until the moment he slips away in our arms Simon and I are devastated this is happening a 3rd time this year and this has been my fear for many, many years. Thank you all for being there for us and keep Ralph in your thoughts tomorrow as he starts his journey over the rainbow bridge.
