In an attempt to better control the running game, #STLCards C Ivan Herrera is experimenting with throwing from his knees to get rid of the ball quicker. Herrera's pop time was 1.99 sec and his throw was 74 mph, per Statcast. However, rookie Kristin Campbell was easily safe.

I'm not sure everyone realizes how amazing this throw was in regards to what was going on around him. The way he reset his base/feet so he's able to drive his hips into the throw before getting hit gave me goosebumps. This is something even vets have a hard time with from time to time. Step away, reset, and boom. This was throw that made me audibly say "Yup, that's the one". #Browns #DawgPound #NFL

Is this a penalty? 1. Lucas Digne touched the ball and was about to kick it again. 2. Digne was not running or moving toward Lamine Yamal. 3. Digne was looking up at the ball, showing no intention of making contact with Lamine Yamal. 4. Lamine Yamal was the one running toward Digne and throwing his body into him. 5. The speed and force with which Lamine ran into Digne’s leg are what caused him to fall. It’s like slapping your own cheek against someone’s hand and then claiming they slapped you.

Bo Nix was mislabeled as a prospect/rookie. He has very good physical traits. His arm is live (watch this throw), and he runs around while being strong enough to avoid sacks. Negatives really have been the decision making the whole time, and that gets better with reps.

This batter hits a hard shallow liner into right field. The right fielder is charging and fires to first. The ball is overthrown and the runner looks but decides to stay at first. The catcher backed up the overthrown ball and throws to first and he rages the runner. The umpire calls him out and says he made an attempt to go to second base. I think he looked but I don’t see an attempt. He stayed in fouls territory the whole time. Just because his head looked doesn’t mean he made an attempt. 50/50 people saying he’s out for an attempt and others say no attempt, he should be safe. What’s your call? Safe or out? An attempt to second or no attempt?

FIFA Fan Fest at the Coliseum was a good time! $10 tickets to get in, and kids under 12 are free. My 8 year old had a blast! And we took the Metro from Culver City to get to Expo Park. Train was pretty safe! The resident homeless guy was really nice 🤷‍♂️ Even showed my son his Samurai sword collection!
