Bricks and Minifigs - from BAD to WORSE! This is the body cam footage of the Utah police talking to the former franchisee about the Bricks and Minifigs (BAM) Reckless Ben situation. The man puts the CEO of BAM, Ammon McNeff, on the phone. McNeff says a number of interesting things: 1) He ADMITS that the family is owed the money, but denies that he or the new franchisee owe it. I reserve the right to be mistaken, but my understanding of franchise law is that although the franchisor is typically NOT liable for the debts of the franchisee, there are circumstances under which they can be - e.g. if they exercise sufficient control over the franchisee, such that the franchisee can be considered an “agent” under the law. Given the degree of involvement the CEO is displaying with the new franchisee (the guy holding the phone), that argument might be made here. 2) He ADMITS the money is owed, but claims that Ben (Reckless Ben) has no interest in it. This too is not necessarily true if the owner of the LEGOs assigned his claim to Ben. But set that possibility aside… 3) McNeff says that Ben and the others threatened to kill someone, attempted to commit extortion, and other serious crimes. Again, under reserve of the right to be wrong, while it’s not illegal to lie per se to an officer in Utah, my understanding is that it is illegal to make false statements with the intention of getting officers to conduct official acts (i.e. press charges). With the accusations he is making - that Ben threatened to kill someone! - McNeff might be getting close to that line. 4) McNeff ADMITS the money is owed, but claims the former franchisee broke all sorts of rules in contracting with the LEGO owner, which is why the franchisor terminated their agreement. Depending on the knowledge of the misconduct of the franchisee, that might be another argument for the potential liability of corporate - if they knowingly let the franchisee break rules to the detriment / fraud of customers. All that to say, the more McNeff talks, the more damage he causes to the brand and goodwill of BAM - even if Reckless Ben did cross certain lines.

During a 54 minute conversation, brandon buckingham was able to talk to Reckless Ben before and after the hearing today. During a discovery hearing over the leaked bodycam footage, the prosecution suddenly shifted their attitude and "sucked up" to Ben. However, the judge refused to look at his evidence, instead signing a restrictive protective order that blocks Ben from even seeing what crimes he is being charged with. Bryan’s 83 year old dad had no clue how big the story had gotten because he doesn't understand social media. He took the news fairly well 😭

One day, some people came that they are from the sharia court and that the shops would be auctioned. He said, but he has no case in court. He was summoned to the Sharia Appeal court, and though a Christian, he obeyed tp show them his documents because he doesn't want any trouble. They seized the documents and said they want to carry out investigations, only to come out later to seal the shops. If this is true, then one would ask how Sharia court can operate in Abuja and summon a Christian in the first place? You Muslims must speak up to condemn all these kind of reckless acts. He joked with Ben in the clip below about Jewish conspiracies: “You Jews own the media, Ben…as you can tell by all the wonderful headlines you guys get!” It was a great exchange. Charlie asked Ben about many of the accusations against Israel and let him give rebuttals. Charlie wanted to hash out rational sides of the Israel debate within MAGA (although he clarified in this interview that the pro-Hamas team wasn’t rational or welcome). When you watch this final interview, you can see that Charlie was open about criticisms of Israel. They were, however, tempered by his support for Israel, and he thought Jewish conspiracies were foolish. As ever, Charlie was fair. Nobody was preventing him from bringing up these questions, and Ben answered them well. It was a friendly exchange. It was also clear that Charlie chose Ben to give the rebuttal bc he BOTH wanted the questions to be asked AND a competent pro-Israel defense to be heard. None of this would have been a reason for Israel to kill him, and it’s unbelievable that some of his alleged “friends” have tried to frame it as such.

Bricks and Minifigs: This story is extremely disturbing showcasing not only the corruption within the Utah police department but as well as the unlawful activity going on within Multi million dollar corporations. Bricks and Minifigs allegedly stole $200,000 worth of Star Wars LEGO sets from an innocent family. The family then called upon their last hope, “RecklessBen” on YouTube. Ben promised to do everything he could to help, including serving the owners, taking them to court, getting them to admit their wrongdoings, and much more. He actually won a case in small claims court, but Bricks and Minifigs still refused to return the LEGO sets or pay RecklessBen the money awarded through the lawsuit.
