Professor Mohammad Marandi said the Western narrative around the US-Iran talks in Islamabad is being deliberately twisted. During an interview for Al Mayadeen, Marandi affirmed that Iran never discussed halting uranium enrichment. Those claims, he argued, were entirely manufactured by Western outlets to lay the groundwork for future war on Iran. By falsely portraying Iran as agreeing to terms it never accepted, the United States and its media ecosystem can later accuse Iran of "breaking commitments" if the US or "Israel" or both decide to attack Iran again. Speaking to Al Mayadeen on Sunday, Professor Mohammad Marandi affirmed that the Iranian armed forces, including the guards, “do not make decisions” independently, explaining that they carry out decisions made by the state, in this case by the Supreme National Security Council. “Any strike by the Iranians is endorsed by the state and by state institutions,” he said. Professor Marandi also noted that the developments in Oman did not constitute direct negotiations with the United States, stressing that Iran has previously stated that no further negotiations will take place until Washington fulfills its obligations under the MoU. In this interview for Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi explains how developments in Spain point to a growing global shift in public opinion toward the United States and the Israeli regime. "Across the world, the United States and the Israeli regime are now despised," Professor Marandi said, adding that this animosity and hatred among people across the world is growing. He explains that this shift is growing in Europe as well, despite Western media influence and the control "the Epstein class has over the media" and over wealth in that society, which reflects the extent to which the US empire is in decline. In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi confirms that Iran’s stance remains unchanged, despite repeated threats from US President Donald Trump, who seems unfit "fit for office in the sense that he's not stable." Pointing to Sayyed Khamenei’s latest remarks, Marandi stresses that control over the Strait of Hormuz is non-negotiable and reflects the will of the Iranian people. He argues that Washington’s shifting deadlines and rhetoric only reinforce Tehran’s position, not weaken it. Seyed Mohammad Marandi #Iran #WarOnIran #UnitedStates #Trump #AlMayadeen
