In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi highlighted that the supposed one-page agreement Axios shared a few days ago was "complete nonsense", asserting that it was meant for market manipulation. "But the Iranians said that there is no such document and there is no such agreement," he emphasized. Professor Marandi also stressed that the Iranians are not going to give up their peaceful nuclear program, adding, "They're not going to give Trump a deal better than that of Obama." He added that at the moment, Iran's priority is not the nuclear program, it is peace. "And so the discussions on the nuclear program will be left for a later date. That's what the Iranians have told the Americans. And for the Iranians right now, the priority is to have a ceasefire in Lebanon and, of course, in Palestine, but also to end the siege," Professor Marandi said. Speaking to Al Mayadeen on Monday, Professor Mohammad Marandi said that #Iran's missile and drone strikes have had an “enormous effect” on US forces stationed across the region. He said those #US forces are deployed to protect the Israeli regime, “the empire,” and “the genocide forces in Gaza and South Lebanon,” adding, “So there is good reason why people feel the need to help Iran and the Iranian armed forces because they know that silence or indifference only helps the Israeli regime.” Professor Marandi also said he expects the fighting to intensify, adding, “I believe that we're going to see dramatic changes across the region.” Seyed Mohammad Marandi #IranWar #USAttackIran #WarOnIran #WestAsia

In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi said that he does not think #Iran wants to change mediators, explaining that the problem is with the US, not the mediators. As for Iran's relationship with #Oman, Professor Marandi noted that they have a very good relationship, explaining that Oman did not participate in this war like other #Gulf states. "So obviously, Iran has good relations with Oman, and it will discuss relations with countries in the region, as well as the situation with the United States, with Oman because they have experience with the #UnitedStates and they have longstanding relations with countries in the region," Professor Marandi said. He also noted that Iran and Oman share the Strait of Hormuz, adding that they need to coordinate on a host of different issues. Seyed Mohammad Marandi #IranWar #WarOnIran

In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi explains that the US siege on Iranian ports was the result of the fact that #Iran said, "No, Lebanon was supposed to be a part of the ceasefire, and it has to be a part of the ceasefire." He added, "So there's no doubt that Iran will not end this conflict without the Israeli regime being forced to leave all of #Lebanon." Professor Marandi also stressed that one thing Iran is attempting to do during this war is “to make the United States pay such a price,” not only so that it will never launch an aggression on Iran again, but to force the decision makers in the United States to decide and choose American interests over Israeli interests. In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi said that he thinks the Iranians are going to expand the war, adding that it will be “a much more decisive war than last time” and “a much more destructive” one. He pointed out that the #US saying it is going to “wipe out a civilization” means that #Iran’s response will be “as hard as it can be” and that it will hit the most sensitive targets possible, “to make sure the pain among its enemies, whether in Tel Aviv or in the region or in Washington, is decisive.” Professor Marandi also noted that the world is moving closer “to an enormous economic crisis,” adding that it is currently in an unprecedented energy, fertilizer, and helium crisis, and that every day that goes by, it is only getting worse. In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi described the war on Iran as a major miscalculation by the United States, arguing that Iran sees no benefit in a ceasefire at this stage. According to Marandi, Tehran believes that only sustained pressure will deter future attacks, warning that a ceasefire would give Washington and its allies time to regroup and strike again. Marandi also highlighted the broader consequences of the conflict, including rising energy prices and increasing international pressure on Washington. In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi said that one myth the Trump administration has been promoting is that Iran has provided a proposal for the nuclear issue. He affirmed that Iran has not done that at all, adding that "In fact, in Islamabad, the Iranians refused to discuss the nuclear issue because the Iranians have said that they will only discuss the peace proposal, the 10-point plan." "With regards to Trump declaring victory and walking away, there are a couple of things. One, with regards to the Iranian oil wells, that's really not a major issue," Professor Marandi said, adding that the oil wells across the entire Gulf region are facing a similar situation; however, in that case, for Iran, it's still less of a problem.
