Update: Suicide Blast in Bannu - 10 May 2026 Details have now emerged about the suicide attack by IMP Khawarij militants targeting innocent civilians in Bannu on 9 May 2026. According to reports, police near Fateh Khel Police Station in Bannu stopped a suspicious vehicle that was heading toward a civilian area. When police intercepted the vehicle, the attacker detonated it. The powerful blast caused the roof of Fateh Khel Police Station to collapse. Nearby civilian homes also suffered heavy damage from the explosion. Due to the roof collapse, 13 police personnel and civilians were martyred, and 6 people were injured. Three of the injured are civilians. The statement alleges that, following the success of Operation Ghazab lil Haq, Khawarij militants, acting on the instructions of their Indian handlers, have become desperate and started targeting civilians and soft targets. After the incident, there is intense anger among the people of Bannu against the Khawarij. The public has demanded strict action by security forces against the Khawarij. The CM of KPK remains insensitive and silent, as usual.

Today the supporters of the military dictatorship in Sudan, dressed in military fatigues and chanting a pro-war slogan (جيش واحد شعب واحد), gathered outside Chatham House in London to slander and intimidate a visiting Sudanese politician who opposes them. Some of the protesters even dressed up their children in military fatigues. There was heavy police presence as the protest became unruly. Take note, Counter Terrorism Policing,Metropolitan Police. There is a straight line of continuity between the regime in Sudan today and the previous one that hosted Osama bin Laden for five years, attempted to assassinate Egypt’s president, and waged a 30-year jihad in South Sudan and the Nuba Mountains. On social media, I've seen clear examples of violent incitement by Sudanese residents of the UK. The right to peaceful protest is essential in a democracy; but it’s noteworthy that these protesters chose symbols of violence. The Sudanese people deserve great sympathy and support for their sufferings at the hands of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary-turned-rebel group that is currently battling the military. I think many in the West would support (or have supported) efforts to end this war and pressure the RSF and its main international sponsor, the United Arab Emirates. But these protesters don't want peace; they want war and more violence, not only in Sudan but even in the streets of Europe, if that helps them to achieve their war aims. Restoring the Islamist dictatorship of Omar al-Bashir is the key war aim of the Sudanese Armed Force, and the reason why the military boycotted peace talks supported by the U.K. government.
