In Bengaluru, the Karnataka government’s Backward Classes Commission conducted a social & economic survey without consulting household members and pasted stickers outside homes. This costs ₹500 crore. A few months ago, a similar survey was done without consent, wasting ₹145 cr.

The survey was already done but the survey team was deliberately sent again in the morning so that the atmosphere gets spoiled and no one can discuss the elections. #WATCH | Bengaluru: On reports of Infosys founder chairperson Sudha Murty opting out of Karnataka's socio-economic survey, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge says, "The Caste Census is a government initiative. First of all, it is a survey that includes a lot of other information as well. It is surprising that a member of parliament makes such statements. Clearly, I think it is inspired by other BJP leaders or the co-direction, claiming it is voluntary, but more is expected from people like them because they inspire many generations and continue to do so. However, saying that I will not participate in a survey is not right. You could have refused to answer a few questions at most... The survey is only to understand the socio-economic and educational conditions of the people of Karnataka. If you are getting three meals a day, it is definitely not for you. However, we would have liked to know the socio-economic conditions of everyone."

BBMP has paid ₹9.5 crore of public money to a shady consultant to do a Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V DPR job. Consider this - - The feasibility report, which was authored to provide traffic solutions after January 2024, contains traffic survey images done in Aug 2023. - A traffic junction photo from 2019 appears in a 2025 report. - And unbelievably, the same DPR mentions Malegaon and Nashik in Maharashtra while analysing the traffic volume of certain corridors in Bengaluru. This is not urban planning. This is blatant corruption, a cut-copy-paste scam meant to loot taxpayers in the name of the ₹18,500 Cr Tunnel Road project. Bengaluru deserves better. #SayNoToTunnelRoad

The jobs numbers don't add up. The establishment survey says leisure and hospitality added 70,000 jobs in May. The household survey, down 300,000 positions since January. Full-time jobs, down half a million over the last two months. These two numbers cannot both be true. And when you have to pick one, you take the household survey. Every single time. Businesses staffed up hoping demand would follow. It didn't. Hotels offering discounts. Parks seeing softer attendance than expected. The income data flagged this months ago. There simply wasn't enough of it. The picture the headline number paints and the picture on the ground are not the same picture.

She’s done it again. Every. Damn. Word. Assita Kanko MEP just nails it every time at the European Parliament. This time in regard to Hezbollah and Iran. She calls out Members of the EU Parliament that have mourned Nasrallah on their social media. This bit stood out to me the most: “An opportunity to build a new Middle East without Hezbollah, without Hamas, without a destructive powerful Iran and without Radical Islam and without brutal antisemitism” More people like Assita in these kind of positions will make the world a better place.

This Daycare Center released CCTV footage showing Boitumelo Moshoette, a supervisor at Mmelegi Community Creche, hitting a 3-year-old boy on the top of the head and swearing at him on January 21, 2026. According to reports, Moshoette was suspended in 2024 because of similar accusations, but the social workers reappointed her without first consulting the community or the parents. This behavior is totally unacceptable.
