Below is my favorite love poem. I'll bet no one on Twitter has ever heard this one before. I knew the author. She's my ex-wife. I'm pretty sure that she wrote it in the mid 1970's, and I doubt that she ever published it or posted it anywhere. She didn't seem to understand why I found it to be profound in its simplicity & truth. In recent years, I have tried to track her down to just check in, but she seems to have gone completely off the grid. Anyway, here it is: Love is like the air. We can see it moving things, We can feel it touch us, And it keeps us alive.

💔. this is a truth.

This is sad 😔 I'm sorry you are hurting. It sounds like loss or anguish.

Wow. Made me tear up.

❤️🖤

I only wear boots, or hard leather soles, but only because they’re loud enough to remind me that I’m not a ghost.

Thank you, now I'll have your voice in my head when I read your work. I love hearing poets read their work.

These poems are powerful

I mean, who doesn't need a love poem? 💜
