Just reached Room Ayudhika ! Trying to eat after walking almost 22km. That too a curved inclined path...This is my 3rd yatra this year...! It was wonderful darsan, starred at Mata for almost 1 min which generally is not possible but the crowd was really small today

The word Bharata natyam is so full of divine meaning ,it goes like this ! In Tamizh when expanded Patham- the wholesome knowledge of layam and rhythm!Tham- Extreme lung power,the centre of energyRatham-A dancer has to be dressed as grandly and decorated like a heavenly chariot.

In Sanatana Dharma, All art forms were prayers offered to the Divine. Only recently have we begun the arduous task of stripping them of the divine in an attempt to make them Seemingly 'Secular'. I say, 'seemingly secular' because Sanatana Practices were are always Truly Secular.

Barathanattiyam is an appropriation and "cleaning up" of Sadhirattam that was danced exclusively by Devadasis both at Temples and Royal courts. Less said of the Devadasi system, the better.

Chidambaram temple is a place where Brahmin atrocities will be high and openly visible. They treat devotees worse than dog. The Brahmin priests are known for demanding donations stealing temple properties and all sort of atrocities.
