However, it's important to note that this count spans two years, from the fall of 2021 to the present. It's also important to acknowledge that this doesn't necessarily mean 3.5 million individuals received the shot; it represents the total number of doses administered, and it's reasonable to assume that a significant number of the same individuals have received multiple shots. Ontario Public Health’s latest report also reveals that as of September 10, 2023, only “4.1% of individuals 5 years of age and older who completed their primary series have received any booster dose in the previous 6 months.” Moore appears to be manipulating both statistics and language in an attempt to convey the idea of increased COVID-19 vaccine booster uptake among Ontarians.
