$Yesterday, at different times of the day, I directed enforcement and clean-up operations across the state to address persistent street trading and environmental infractions. Our Environmental Task Force intervened at Ogudu Road by Ojota Junction, Iyana-Ipaja Under Bridge, and Egbeda Junction, where traders had encroached on the road, obstructing traffic and compromising public safety. During the operations, goods and wares were seized, and 15 offenders were arrested. All suspects will be arraigned in court, and the seized items will be forfeited to the State in line with existing laws. Street trading remains illegal in Lagos, and we will continue to enforce the law firmly and fairly to keep our roads safe, orderly, and free for all road users. #ZeroToleranceLagos$

Due to recent rainfall, potholes and waterlogging had developed on the Bachupally flyover towards Gandimaisamma and along the Miyapur road, causing the stretch to become muddy and difficult to navigate. As of today, all stagnant water has been cleared from the potholes, and they have been filled with concrete to restore safer driving conditions. Commuters can expect improved road conditions, although caution is still advised while traveling in the area.

Due to Pune Grand Tour, an international cycling event, roads in Shivajinagar and Deccan will be closed for vehicles on Monday, 19th January from 9 am to 6 pm. This will lead to traffic disruptions in nearby areas also affecting almost half of Pune city. Areas in following PMC wards will be affected: Shivajinagar-Ghole Road Vishrambaugwada Kasba Dhole Patil Road Bhavani Peth Aundh-Baner Kothrud-Bavdhan Sinhgad Road Warje Karvenagar The administration has closed schools, colleges in these areas and appealed people to walk and use Pune Metro services for travelling in these areas.
