I called out the Somali gang problem in Minnesota more than a year ago after my meeting with the FBI field office in Minneapolis. As Somali gangs continue to grow in numbers, Minnesota leaders remain silent, and local media refuse to report on the problem. It’s not racist to call out Somali gang violence. I’m grateful we have law enforcement leaders like Sheriff Fletcher who will stand up and speak out against this issue.
