👤 how does your mindset differ when you’re alone & when you’re with the members? 🐻‍❄ when i’m alone, it’s definitely more peaceful. when all 13 members are together, first of all, it’s noisy. since there’s just a lot of people. but when i’m alone, there’s much more pressure of having to do more instead. when we’re together as a group, we can rely on each other a lot more. even if you say something once or all 13 say something once, it just becomes 13 words automatically. and since we’ve been working together for a long time, i think our personalities and chemistry also become part of the fun

always admired how eloquent chenle is with his words 🥹 chenle said both group and individual activities are important. as a team, the coordination and the sense of achievement you get from working together toward one goal is something you can’t experience alone. but at the same time, staying too comfortable in a team can limit your personal growth. because in a team, you tend to focus on your strengths, while your weaknesses can be hidden. but when you’re on your own, those weaknesses become visible and that’s when you have to work even harder to turn them into strengths. so he said individual growth is just as necessary. in the end, he believes he need both. #천러 #チョンロ #钟辰乐 #辰乐 #CHENLE

Another busy week with the awesome team at emptyvessel. ❤️💥 Progress was a bit slower than I hoped, but we still managed to push the destruction system further. In this video you can see large procedural mesh destruction in action. The best part? These meshes can be huge without tanking performance. 🚗 Tried to make my first voxel-based game ever with bolt.new It's my first time really using Bolt, you get your regular prompt window on the left side, but any updates to your project are immediately visible on the right side as a browser I think it's much easier for non-tech people because you don't need to switch to your browser to test, and because you skip the whole deployment step, you just click Publish or say publish and it's up as a site My game here is inspired by Teardown, that game that's built up by voxel blocks where you can destroy everything, it's somehow so satisfying to destroy every wall and object But I wanted to do it as a race game, but then I thought why not make it like demolition derby where the goal is to crash into each other? And parts of your car fly off etc. So 🚗 Voxel Derby was born It took a bit to get everything right and you still have to direct it to get what you want, like the engine sound was quite basic and then I told it "okay add gears" and then suddenly it sounded realistic, that kind of stuff But it actually built a performant voxel-based game pretty easily, I'm impressed Tomorrow I'll try add multiplayer just with Bolt, no idea if it can do, it'd have to spin up some server for that but we'll see if it works 😊

The ENM Imbalance Problem A common argument against ethical non-monogamy is that it can’t work because one person will usually have more options, attention, or dating success than the other. And honestly, that can be true. But imbalance exists in monogamy too. The real issue is whether that imbalance gets talked about honestly or used as leverage. ENM doesn’t fail just because things aren’t perfectly equal. It fails when someone says yes out of fear, when jealousy gets dismissed, or when one person’s freedom comes at the other person’s emotional expense. The ethics are in how you handle the messy parts.

🦊Ah but there’s really something about that. You know, when it’s your birthday, there are people who text you right away as soon as it passes midnight and then there are people who reach out at some point during the day. Of course the people you’re really close with will congratulate you right away, but looking back at my life so far, there are also people who don’t usually stay in touch but will reach out at least once just because it’s your birthday. Honestly, I find myself feeling even more grateful for those people. Because even though we don't usually talk, they reached out specifically because it's my birthday. I feel like unless you genuinely care, you wouldn't really do that, and that's why it makes me feel even more grateful

Week 1 of the JT15D teardown is done! We pulled the accessory gearbox, got into the external engine lines, and started getting a real feel for what 10+ years in a warehouse does to an engine. Every fitting was a fight, every seal was fused, and I learned pretty quickly that this teardown is going to demand a lot more patience than I expected. One thing I did not anticipate is how long quality videos actually take to produce. Between the teardown sessions, the scanning, the documentation, and everything else happening on this project, there is just not enough time right now to film and edit the videos I actually want to make. So for now I am capturing as much footage as I can, and once the teardown is complete I plan to go back through everything and put together videos with a bit more production quality behind them. Massive thank you to Jim Belosic Maxim Lobovsky (more on that soon) and every single person who contributed to the crowdfund. NONE of this would have been possible without all of you all who decided to support this project, so thank you! An on the ITAR questions, I ran it by an ip attorney and they cant find any issues with doing this, But we are still going through the proper CJ paperwork to have hard evidence that this engine has ZERO compliance issues. This is only the beginning.

How can players make a big jump next year?!?! For High School and College players… they all put in work with their coaches. Most of them have a trainer they see to put in work. So what is the separator? 1. Are you working on the right things with your coaches that are going to help you be a better player working your team and overall 2. HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU PUT IN THE GYM ON YOUR OWN. This is a HUGE SEPARATOR because this time isn’t dependent on anyone and is unlimited in how much you do. Almost every player I’ve worked with that has made a BIG JUMP has put in extra time on their own. It’s not only because of the work, but it also helps players understand their game better and gives them a bigger investment in their development. As a player you should assess that part of your development today!
