Brad Pitt broke his arm while filming this scene in Se7en (1995). He slipped, fell, and drove his arm through a car windshield, severing a tendon and damaging nerves in his hand. The injury required surgery and a cast. Instead of shutting down production, David Fincher rewrote the script and incorporated Pitt’s real injury into the film.
