This narrative has been going since the year 2000 when China entered the WTO. The problem is they don't play by the rules. These companies who are doing business there are finding all kinds of problems, although they really want access to that massive market. There's no question about that. It's just their IP gets stolen all the time. They can't litigate when they have a dispute. There's no way to resolve it. The Chinese use the American courts to litigate their interests here and in the US, and many other things they do here. So a lot of this discussion is to try and balance the playing field, and one would hope that could happen, but it never has. That's why Trump is using tariffs to trying to squeeze them into submission. We'll see what the next round looks like.

There's billions of market cap right now listed on NASDAQ and NYSE of Chinese companies that I have to compete with. I have to pay for the compliance costs, I have to be transparent, I have to abide by the law, and they don't. They raise money with the same bankers I use and I have to compete with them and they're not being transparent. They have to get delisted. As soon as Atkins gets sworn in, start delisting these Chinese companies. This law was modified to only give them two years to abide and actually comply and they didn't. So delist them. Why should I have to compete with them? Let's squeeze them.

It's not important that your partner is an identical copy of you. It's important that they're not, that they bring something else to the table that you don't have. Now, in the context of entrepreneurship, because that's what I'm associated with, you need to find somebody that's willing to put up with the fact that you're just never there. Whatever rules we have here that I have to abide by, I want the Chinese to abide by the same to get access to the US market. if I have to comply with listing laws when I list a company on NASDAQ or New York Stock Exchange, and I have to be transparent, I can't put a golden share on the cap table and not disclose it. I have to be compliant. I have to have complete transparency in my accounting. The Chinese do not. I want to be able to protect my IP in the Chinese market. They get to litigate in the US but I can't litigate in China. We all just want to compete. I want to do business with them on a level playing field, the same rules everybody else has to live by. That's what I want, and that's what millions of other investors want. I think Xi knows that and it's a huge opportunity for him to play by the rules and become a major player.
