In God's name, what happened?

One word that has changed everything is ,GREED. Born in 65 my life was wonderful my parents worked hard but they always cared for family friends and neighbours. The Thatcher years changed everything and we have been paying the price since.

Yes, I agree. I remember there is no such thing as society speech. The next minute The Young Ones appeared on our screens and ignominiously knocked The Good Life into terminal oblivion. From that point things rapidly altered. We've been hurtling into the abyss ever since.
