When Nikkatsu studio executives saw the finished cut of Seijun Suzuki's "Branded to Ki!!" (1967), they thought it was too terrible to be released, so they shelved it. Suzuki along with others in the film business, film critics, and students protested in unfairness since, by contract, Nikkatsu was supposed to release the finished film theatrically. It went to court, with a ruling in favor of the director. Nikkatsu had to pay for damages and have the film released. Suzuki's contract with Nikkatsu was terminated, and with the bad reputation, was unable to work on a feature film for the next 10 years. (Source: IMDb)

This woman lived in this college house alone in the summer while she was in school still and everyone went home for break. She worked as a bartender and wouldn’t get home until late night most of the time. She came home from work and as she entered each room, she turned on the light. She slept in one of the attic bedrooms. The other room she was always nervous about and kept the door shut. She woke up in the morning and when she unlocked her bedroom door, she opened it to see the attic door open, the closet in that room was open too and it was clear someone was in there waiting, she could see the contents of the closet pushed aside. So while she slept, according to her whoever it was tried to open her door but couldn’t, so they left. Needless to say that the experience scared and she moved out until the other students came back the following semester. Is it possible it was one of the other roommates coming to get something from their room, would you automatically assume this was an intruder, wouldn’t the have just kicked down the door?
