Wow. I know this is a niche perspective, but I want to thank you for giving credit to @mickbrownwriter for the interview and for recognizing that he is not the sub that wrote the headline. Anyone who’s written anything for a major outlet knows that this happens all too frequently, they take your copy, and they put the headline that they think will get the most clicks and readers, whether or not it reflects the truth or the context of your interview. In my couple of years running a news site for @dowjones we really tried not to do this. Most star interviewees would reflexively blame the journalist. It is entirely to your credit that you did not. And hey if you need a place to stay, DM, I have a spare room :)
