In Japan Jump Races Are Started With Stalls - Should It Be Trialled Here ?
11 条评论

Not a chance, it would never work and the delays would be horrendous with how some jump horses are! Starters and jockeys need to sort it out between themselves

Jump into a world ready to be explored — your epic story begins now! Are you ready?

No, races are delayed enough as it is. Just get some starters competent enough to do the job. It's not that hard as it's done without issue 90%+ of the time during the season.

Would very testing Winter ground (Heavy Jumping Ground) be too difficult to move the Stalls on and off the track?

Would cause far more problems than it would solve

In Japan, number of horses at jump race is limited 14 or 16. This is much fewer than that in England. So, I think it is too difficult to use stalls at the jump races in England.

Cant see it working here especially in winter on heavy ground when they may well get stuck
Half the races would be called off due to stalls not being able to move off the race track

Didn’t know they had jump racing! I’d prefer not to have stalls, just think the starter had a mare at Cheltenham. Also, would imagine the ground might cause issues here.

Some of the tracks are near quagmires during the winter, the tractors and stalls would no doubt get stuck, would be a nightmare.
